I really enjoyed my Chicken Caesar Salad but my husband reckoned this was his best Beefburger EVER (and he is quite an expert!). Staff friendly. We ate on the terrace overlooking the well kept gardens. This was an Itison deal and certainly one that we would take up again.

We were booking a function and rooms, so we stayed for some dinner and had a lovely meal. Menu is compact with around 10-12 each of starters, mains and desserts. The menu features local produce and we had carrot and coriander soup and Dunkeld smoked salmon to start, ribeye steaks for main and these were great, well cooked and accompanied... More

We had a lovely meal at No1 The Bank when staying at The Parklands, the smoked salmon starter was particularly good and the venison was delicious, the plaice was cooked to perfection and the sticky toffee pudding was a very tasty treat. We cannot fault the meal or the service and hope to return soon.

Ordered soup for starters which arrived almost cold. Small portion main course. 6 chips and the smallest piece of fish I have ever seen. Overall a very disappointing meal.

Felt rushed through starter and main then staff disappeared for dessert and bill ! Food quality mixed - starters were much better than mains although both steaks were cooked to perfection. Children's fish was greasy and the wine advertised as a 2009 was actually a 2012 (but same price!) Overall, was expensive for what it was, not sure we would... More

The food was cold, and had very tiny portions on large plates.. We did not rate the resturant & could not understand why it has had such good reviews? Not in my opinion, very good value for money..

My sister and I visited No 1 The Bank for the first time and were most impressed. We had lunch in the conservatory. The staff were discreetly attentive and the food was wonderful. We enjoyed coffee in the lounge, making the most of the autumn scenery. We left equipped with maps of Perth and helpful directions. We look forward to... More

Great choice of food carefully prepared and served. 2 rosettes - probably worth more - efficient and friendly service. Good wine list at sensible prices. Just brilliant.

It was so good we ate in the restaurant on the second night of our stay. It was ano brainer. All food was truly delicious - not a large menu but very tempting choices with strong Scottish emphasis. Nice quiet atmosphere and the wiater could not have been more pleasant. The French cheese platter was the best - served with... More
