My wife and I spent a couple of nights here before the arrival of our third child and it was just what we needed. Set in the Perthshire countryside the location does not disappoint. Lovely views over the golf course and the countryside beyond. If you are looking for a quiet getaway then you won't do much better than here.... More

Stunning venue with amazing view from the dining room. Lovely lounge to have a drink beforehand. Staff were very attentive and extremely pleasant - no rushing you out of the dining room either at the end. Meal was excellent value. Good choice on menu. A pleasant evening.

Having attended a conference recently held at the Murrayshall House Hotel, I was dismayed that after approximately 15 years of using this hotel for our conferences the recent service was not poor... it was absolutely appalling! Our lunch was the bare minimum. Being vegetarian (well pescatarian actually, but no fish was available) I was given (on BOTH - of two... More

The food here is absolutely amazing and the presentation is top class. It did appear a wee bit stuffy, you had to sit in the bar area before being escorted to your table and it was silver service with waiters wearing white gloves. However, it was extremely enjoyable and it was nice to be spoiled for a change. The food... More

We had sunny day for our visit as the hotel is in a stunning location. The lunch menu was extensive with plenty of choice. We enjoyed a well prepared meal served by competent staff. As we had not met for some time it was a pleasure to have coffee in the lounge where there was no pressure to leave. What... More

Recently visited the hotel restaurant for a birthday celebration and would highly recommend it for both the food and atmosphere. We ate off the fixed price lunch menu and while the choice was not vast it made up for it in the taste department. We were fortunate to get the big sofas in front of the open log fire where... More

Very well presented meals that on initial look would appear to be a bit on the meagre side, but surprisingly, at the end of our meal all in the party stated that the quantity was just right. It just proves that looks can be deceiving.

This quite formal restaurant is part of a superb country house hotel and serves excellent food, obviously prepared by highly qualified chefs. The waiting staff are unobtrusive yet attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxing; a surprise, given the dress code. Try the sea bass - it's sublime.
