Visited for lunch.Sat waiting 20 mins before we got a menu & drinks! Waitress was terrible no manners or patience. Ordered our food, patiently waiting & trying to keep a 1 & 4 year old entertained. Noticed others who were in after us receiving there food so we decided to ask if ours would be long as we had been... More

went in to this place for a quick snack at lunchtime. Unfortunately it was not as quick as we would have liked. The place was quite busy, and the service was rather slow. We only ordered soup and sandwiches but had to wait rather a long time for them. The people on the next table seemed to be having the... More

Very disappointed with food, it was simply awful. Staff were busy and tried to be helpful but the place is one mile long so everything takes forever. Simple lunch wrap took half an hour and was not worth waiting. "Milk shakes" were more like water with some milk froth.

Menu and waitress untruthful about paninis which allegedly contain too much filling to close. The milkshakes (£3 for a terrible, poorly flavoured chocolate orange milkshake) were small, the brie and bacon baguette consisted of one piece of bacon and and 2 pieces of brie and cost £7.50 (enjoyed a two-course meal at a very highly rated restaurant for the same... Visited here with friends, was looking for somewhere that provided a good quantity of food with reasnoble quality. Unfortunatley after ordering the Panini which was stated on the menu " too much filling to fit in " at a price of £7.50 we were all shocked at the small portion size presented to us! The quality was poor to say... More

I visit my Mum once a year, she lives about 25minutes from Elgin and every time we visit, we HAVE to visit The Pancake Shop, it's the highlight of our trip. The food is amazing, especially the spoon sized pancakes, which are bigger than any spoon I've ever seen, great value for money and they cater for the little ones... More

Great choice, lovely people and well cooked food. What more could you ask for. My daughter had an omlette, salad and fries and I had a jacket potato, tuna mayo and salad. The coffee was lovely, nice flavour and not too strong. The helpful staff tried to make my very reasonable bill even cheaper by asking if my daughter has... More

Very disappointing how they can get something so simple so wrong. My fiancé and I ordered a pancake to share which we were both really looking forward to. The pancake arrived at the table where you would think a 9 year old kid had been serving up the food in the kitchen, drowned in chocolate and the icecream was ice... More

Breakfast deal for £3.50, 4 things included. Bacon, egg, sausage and beans, i asked to swap my bacon for an extra sausage as I have never eaten bacon and the waitress simply said no. EVERYWHERE else in elgin swaps things on breakfasts to satisfy every customer. The waitress was rude and awkward! I think this is just pathetic. Hardly anyone... More
