Relaxing position overlooking the harbour with seating inside and out as well as an ice cream kiosk. The cafe is very small and intimate but serves a varied range of fantastic food. This includes... Went to Basil's last night (Saturday) as it had been recommended to us. The food was great. As we were there on a Saturday night, we had food from the tapas menu. Couldn't fault any of it. We ordered 9 of the tapas dishes, all of which were fantastic. Would definately go again. Was a nice place to just sit... More

We returned with grandkids in tow on Sunday morning for breakfast and I enjoyed a lorne and bacon roll. Everyone had the breakfast. Nice staff, great coffee and wonderful... More

Went with husband and 11 month old. A Small cafe but a big welcome. Very friendly staff, good food and excellent menu choices. So nice to go to a seaside cafe and have something other than chips! I had a pepper and halloumi panini, my husband had bacon, eggs and toast. The staff were very helpful to a blind customer... More

Thank you for a really great evening. The food was delicious & service spot on, as always. Plus you made it a terrific fun night with your good nature despite all of us noisy women. Thanks again, we'll be back.
