We have been here several times when we are in the area and the staff are very friendly and the food in general is very good, except for the 'fresh crab sandwich' I see another review says the crab sandwich is tasty but it was not at all what I was expecting. It is described as a fresh crab with... More

I have been here a few times whilst visiting Nairn. I must admit that the cappuccino is one of the best I have ever tasted. And as I am a seasoned traveller who enjoys his cappuccino i really enjoy their brand of coffee. Keep it up.

Visited 25/2/15. After a long walk with my wife we popped in for lunch at the basil, I had been once before many years ago and couldn't remember what it was like. The café is small, probably fit 20 or so people but it is clean and tidy with local art on the walls. We both ordered the Basil Full... More

Took my wife and two girls here for breakfast rolls after a walk in Nairn. Friendly service, clean bright cafe with excellent range of breakfasts, snacks and rolls. Decent cup of coffee too. Reasonably priced as well. Three pieces of black pudding in one roll! Happy days. Satisfied family who will definitely be back.
