Took my wife and two girls here for breakfast rolls after a walk in Nairn. Friendly service, clean bright cafe with excellent range of breakfasts, snacks and rolls. Decent cup of coffee too. Reasonably priced as well. Three pieces of black pudding in one roll! Happy days. Satisfied family who will definitely be back.

Basil's is one our favourite stops for a coffee / soup / bacon roll / home bake on our Sunday runs. Sometimes difficult to get in as always busy, & no wonder - the home made soup, home Mae burgers etc etc are first class. The burgers by the way THE BEST I've ever tasted !

Great cafe for after your walk on the beach. Seats outside if yiu have a large dog, ad we have, or wee ones get inside. Good coffee and homebakes and the Cullen Skink is ace.

Finally tried Basil's famous cooked breakfast. Was fantastic, so fresh and full of flavour. Such a busy bistro with a lovely atmosphere. Staff were very attentive and friendly also. Cant recommend enough! I've been told about there tapas nights so also need to try!

We came here on a chilly morning for something that would heat us up. When we went in we were lucky enough to get a table as the place was very busy for being in a quiet season. We ordered hot chocolates, cappuccinos and chocolate cake, The cake was amazing and the drinks were piping hot, just what we needed.... More

Only popped in for a hot chocolate to heat up after a walk on the beach. Had a bowl of double cooked chips and they were amazing, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Yummy. Went back a second time, just for the chips. The staff and friendly and so are the other customers. Dog friendly too.

Smashing little place, right on the harbour, great for boat lovers, right next door to the sailing club. We have been for breakfast, Tapas, and loads in between The food is excellent and service really good. The Tapas were very good, although to get a decent meal you do have to spend a bit, the portions aren't that big. The... More

This continues to be a gem, great staff, great food, great feeling and I'll be back. The specials board is always changing, the basic menu is great, the home baking first class, the atmosphere is lively and most pleasurable. This is an all round great place and they, the staff, are doing everything right. Well recommended, I can't complement them... More

I went on a night out with colleagues from work for a night of "tapas" I had never had tapas before so was a bit dubious about what was going to be presented to me. Well........ I was more than amazed at how wonderful they were. We ordered a selection from the menu (to be honest we ordered just about... More

Booked for the Tapas last Saturday night and was not disappointed !! Very authentic food, and great value for money. If Tapas is you thing, you wont get anything like it in the area, especially at these prices .
