5 of us went for lunch today. Enjoyed a delicious meal which we had ordered beforehand so no delay. That said, given time plenty of time to eat each course. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent pub food and presented well. We are local and eat here regularly. The menu has just changed and offers additional choice. They also do a regular steak night!

Basic bar ambience--sports on TV, etc. The food was a bargain--good, better than you'd expect for the price.

During a recent holiday to Nairn we visited here three times for evening meals. Cosy atmosphere, booking sometimes recommended. Food - First visit I had the Haggis parcel, excellent example of the dish, hubby was intrigued by their £10 steak offer which is available every day, a choice of cuts he opted for the Rib-eye (although skeptical at a tenner),... I had a beef and ale pie. It was good, a bit dry but still tasty. My wife had fish which was pretty good. It was convenient being right next to our B & B. The beer on tap was good also.

Went for lunch today. Was sceptical of the 2 for £12 offer and was determined NOT to have chips again after a bad experience at Tesco. However 2 of us got 8 large pieces of scampi, HAND CUT chips & a lovely salad garnish with a delightful dressing on. We both had a pint of John Smith's shandy and the... More

"No room at the Inn" so stayed at the B&B next door. That said it was easy to see why there was no room! A great pub on a corner with car park, a great choice of food, Excellent choice of Scotch Whisky and very pleasant staff. It is always busy with local people eating there - prices are reasonable...
