We arrived in Kyle of Lochaish mid afternoon, not having had lunch. However we quickly located Buth Bheag to find out what they could offer, having read others entries in Tripadvisor. We were recommended the Cullen Skink and were not in any way disappointed: it was hot, tasty and delicious. I also had a hot salmon bread roll - my... More

What a little gem this is! Tiny hut of absolute excellence! I have had several meals from here over the past 2 weeks! Seafood salad and a breadroll = divine and fresh. Lots of variety. I didn't want the sauces it came with but loved the salad dressing! The fresh prawn tails I bought to cook were just the best... More

We had lunch here twice, the first time a sandwich filled with the biggest tastiest prawns and fresh salad, beautiful. The second time we had the seafood salad bowl, lots of prawns and crab meat (not a salmon fan so asked for that to be left out) and very crispy salad with small portion of sauce for the seafood and... Overlooking the old Skye ferry ramp and the Isle of Skye itself, this is such an idyllic location. And the food and service is fantastic. All the food is fresh seafood, locally sources and prepared with real care and attention. It’s a pity that there aren’t more tables outside, but a couple of park benches are fine and there’s also... Don't be fooled by the size or appearance of this 'seaside' takeaway. The variety of food is super as is the quality. The place is clean, and well run, service is quick and friendly. A great improvement on our 'midlands city cob shop'.

We decided to get lunch here and were not disappointed. The rolls filled with salmon and mixed seafood were good followed by ice cream and coffee. Great quality and value. If we had been staying nearby we would have gone back for fish and deli items. Not much seating available nearby but if you have a car then you will... More

This is a little gem. It's a bit like those clam shacks dotted up the New England coast. But better. Because it's Scottish. Like me :) Tucked away by the pier, practically in the shadow of the Skye Bridge, it's a seafood deli/icecream bar/coffee shop/purveyor of delicious seafood snacks. The Cullen Skink was just ridiculously good. Fishy velvet with hunks... More

This little shop is fantastic. The rolls are freshly made and full of fresh/high quality ingredients, you can hardly finish one. The coffee is hot/fresh and excellent. We also bought fish from here for a meal later and again excellent. You must visit this little gem.
