Ordered mixed seafood salad bowls for lunch to enjoy on our homeward train journey. They came with prawns, crab and hot smoked salmon, two different dressings, cutlery, salt and pepper, napkin and plastic cutlery all packed into a neat little brown carrier. Well what a treat, the best seafood I have ever tasted. These ladies deserve to be running a... More

We visited 3 times during our holiday in the area, the first visit was for ice-cream, they have a decent choice of flavours and a good variety of cones to choose from, sadly when we went there were only a few flavours left but despite the limited choice on this occasion we enjoyed our treat. The other two visits were... More

Sandwich/roll made to order from local fresh fish - absolutely outstanding - not bettered by Cornish fresh seafood outlets. Did not try the icecream but a constant flow of people ordering implies quality. Prices are so low you wonder how they make any profit - you must try if you're in the area

A tiny takeaway next to the free carpark. I ordered a roll with the tastiest, fattest and most juicy prawns I've ever had with salad for only £3. Beautiful! Staff really friendly. The shop also sells ice creams but I was so full I couldn't manage anything else. But I did take my friend for a prawn roll 1/2 hour... More

Agree 100% with the previous review. Definitely worth a trip for a large bowl of Cullen skink. A small deli shop, selling sandwiches.

Cullen Skink at Buth Bheag has to be the best in Scotland - it was so good we drove back again another 30 miles to have it again the next day. Prawn Sandwich also excellent. A definite must visit if near Kyle of Localsh.

On a wonderfully warm October day it was too nice to waste sitting inside anywhere to eat, so, on advice, we came here and bought smoked salmon [3 styles] salads with 'sides' and sat on the harbour front, enjoying the autumn views of the bridge to Skye, the gathering mist on the mountain tops and a sunset to die for.... Don't be put off by the fact that the place looks like one of those deadly fast sea food joints at Hastings or Yarmouth. It's definitely not. This serves the best Cullen Skink in the world, we kept ordering it elsewhere in restaurants afterwards, for two or three times the prices for half the quality you get here. A tub... More
