Worth the visit to Kyle

We spent the night in Kyle for our wedding anniversary. We decided to eat at the Waverley after reading the reviews on trip advisor. I'm glad we did, the food was first class, we both had the land and sea steak and I must say that it was the best steak and most delicios prawns that we have ever... read more

I have eaten here half a dozen or so times over the last 7-8 years or so. Always excellent food, always excellent service, always excellent in all ways. If the Waverley was in a more "accessable" location then it would be very well known. If you are ever in the North West of Scotland then please do not miss out.... More

The Waverley is a small, homey place, reminds you of your grandmother's kitchen in a very comforting way.The food is wonderfully simple and yet excellently prepared. We could not have had a nicer and more relaxing evening.

Visited with my wife for an evening meal (staying a few doors up on Main Street). There are a flight of stairs that lead to a intimate dining area (so booking is advised) which is littered with many influences; art and decoration that is all about the experience. The food is tremendous! It is truly some of the best and... More

Quirky really does sum this place up. Small, so you may need to book, and conveniently located in the town centre. The owner cooks and the waitress is a gem. The cooking is wholesome using good quality ingredients. Certainly, one of the best steaks I have had in a long time. But make room for the Drambuie Bread and Butter... More

This is a small, intimate restaurant which serves excellent food. The surroundings are a bit twee/quirky but this adds to the ambiance. Service by the young waitress (Kirsty?) is very good and she is extremely pleasant and helpful to everyone. Food is delicious - especially the Drambuie Bread&Butter pudding which is to die for! Well worth a visit.

My husband and I were staying on The Isle of Skye and were looking for a nice place to eat. I found out from a local about this wonderful restaurant. We walked in and were seated immediately. the waitress was very friendly. She answered any questions we had about the menu. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was, although... More

I visited this restaurant with my husband whilst on holiday on Skye, based on all the recommendations I'd previously seen on TripAdvisor. It was quiet when we were there, just one other table occupied, but it still felt very cosy (as other reviewers have said,it's abut like eating in someone's front room and no worse for that!). The waitress couldn't... More

We had a very nice meal at this little restaurant. The service was very very good, the waitress managed the restaurant by herself without getting flummoxed. She was attentive without being intrusive. Best service we had all week in the area. The fish was fresh and beautifully cooked and presented too. The only niggle is the steep stairs up to... More

A little gem tucked away in Kyle. The vegetarian haggis dish is awesome! The staff/service were very professional, the food piping hot and very inspired. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
