Lovely staff, fabulous location but very pricey for a disappointing dinner.

We came here from hearing rave reviews from family and friends, we love seafood so had high expectations. We were on our honeymoon and loved our table beside the loch. We had lunch in the Crannog in April at Nevis Range. This is probably the best restaurant in Fort William with Fresh fish its speciality. The food was all fresh and well presented... We always look forward to eating there...

We went into the Restaurant without booking. They managed to fit us in. They did tell us that we had an hour and a half at our table as they where really busy. The service was excellent and we never felt rushed at any time. The food was outstanding we will definitely go back.

Magical location for a restaurant, and a really warm and welcoming place. It's a relief to find a restaurant that's professionally managed AND hospitable. We thought the seafood would be good because we had been recommended to the place for this. But I enjoyed an excellent steak and overall, we had a really happy visit .

Wild Spring highland weather saw us escaping here for the safety of lunch. Warm inside with friendly service and a good selection of local seafood for lunch. Very popular venue and the only restaurant right on the Loch so the best views in town.

Fantastically presented quaint restaurant. Absolutely superb fish dishes, fresh an exciting on the few visits. You do pay for your meal but you get what you pay for. Be prepared to have to book in advance as it is very popular and always busy.

We arrived early (6:45 For 7.00) and were seated at our table, only another couple of tables were taken at this point. Had a nice meal, opting for a main course each and shared desert. Food is quite expensive, but we knew that. £82 for two main, one desert plus wine. One suggestion we would make is to maybe try... More
