My wife and I were on a trip to Sky and stopped over in Fort William overnight. We booked this place at the last minute managing to get an early table. No wonder it's such a busy place as the food is delicious, the staff friendly and for the standard of cuisine they serve it is very keenly priced. We'll... More

We had lunch here and whilst the fish was fresh and the service pleasant enough it lacked that flavor that you expect being right on the Loch. The bread and oils were fine, we both had salmon pate which was OK and then I had mussels which were mediocre and my husband had fish cakes that were mostly potato. We... More

We dined here for our Anniversary, although it is pricey, the food is gorgeous, the menu is great and there are daily specials. The staff are lovely, very helpful and I can recommend the cheesecake :)) Its a quaint and quirky restaurant and ideal for special occasions and lovers of seafood .

My husband and I went to the Crannog restraunt tonight. We where welcomed warmly and shown to our table having pre booked by email. We ordered a main course for my husband which he said was fine but nothing out the ordinary. I myself have a very small appetite so I ordered a scallop starter with pea puree and crab... More

We hadn't booked in advance but decided to try on the off chance and we are so glad that they managed to squeeze us in on a cold rainy Tuesday night as the warm welcome, service and atmosphere was a perfect antidote to a day in the elements! We ate off the daily specials board and all of the food... More

A really good atmosphere in here at lunch time one day after having done the West Highland Way.In fact it was quite busy and probably worth booking if you can. The seafood is exceptional and the service very good. We would certainly return when in the area again

We were advised to eat here by the host at the B&B we were staying at. The staff at the restaurant were lovely and very helpful, so I cannot fault the attentiveness however the food was quite average and expensive for what was being offered. The servings were small and there was little thought given to presentation. We have been... More

We booked a table here during a downpour last week; by the time we arrived it was a full-own snowstorm with the largest snowflakes I've ever seen. The lochside scene helped make for a terrific evening. However, it was the food and service which were the stars here. Both were exceptional and worth every pound. My daughter and I will... More
