Must have got it on a bad day having eaten here on numerous occasions! the seafood platter was predominately mussels with 1 crab claw and 2 large langoustines! the menu selection felt tired overall.

First of all I dont eat fish unless its in batter and wrapped in newspaper, but this place looked great and we tucked into a fantastic meal including scallops and fresh Hake. Dont worry there is a steak on the menu as well. The place was very busy even in October so it may be best to book a table.... More

This is a wonderful restaurant for seafood lovers. I ordered the langoustines which were delicious. Members of my family enjoyed the monkfish and the mussels. The crab cake starter was excellent. Enjoy!

Only few items on the regular menu, but lots of seafood specials! The mussels and salmon-pea pancake appetizers were very good; the halibut main course was a tad too dry, but still good. Sides (mash and aspargus) very good. All of this enjoying a nice view (well, they are not responsible for the weather!) and a relaxed atmosphere.

Really disappointed with our meal on Saturday evening. The staff were friendly and helpful, but sadly the food wasn't up to scratch. My starter of mussels was nice but no onions in the sauce, my main course was tasteless. Not a patch on Lochleven seafood cafe, another point to note there wasn't another local party in the restaurant. We won't... More

Wonderful position on the old pier on Loch Linnhe with great views of the sunsets. Fabulous local sea food of all kinds, but they also do a great steak for my husband! Very good service and atmosphere, and an international clientele for added interest. Great puds too, and interesting cocktails!

Called here last week while on a weeks holiday in Scotland, I had been the year before and subsequently gave a glowing report, This year, again, I was not disappointed. This has got to be the very best place to eat in Fort William, served by smiling and accommodating staff, The most excellent seafood was beautifully presented and very well... More

I booked the Crannog for my wife's birthday as it has always been a restaurant that we had wanted to try and we love seafood, but for various reasons over the last 20 + years we have never made it. So it was with anticipation they we went there for dinner. As we arrived there were a large number of... More
