Great food, amazing views

We had a lovely lunch at the Crannog Sat 30th Jan. They specialise in seafood, and boy do they do it well. Highly recommended

what a lovely lunch we had. The food was excellent but it was the service that was outstanding. All the staff were friendly and knowledgable. Another highlight was watching an otter scampering past the window.

Never been to a restaurant that serves so fresh fish. Service was good. Will definitely go again Definitely one place you need to go to. Advisable to book a table.

We always visit here whenever we come up to Fort William and are never disappointed. The food and service are second to none. They serve the freshest fish and seafood I've ever eaten. It's always a pleasure and tonight was no exception.

We stopped in because we read online that the seafood was outstanding. I ended up having a steak. It was spectacular. Great selection of beer and cider too!

We were staying in Fort William on a few days away, over the New Year / Hogmanay Holiday, and wanted to treat ourselves to a decent evening meal. Having seen a listing on Google for this restaurant and having checked their own website, we opted for Crannog, as it seemed like it would be good quality and in a splendid... More

The restaurant is obviously a reflection of the passion that the chef owner has for what he does, serving the best food in Scotland, rarely do you visit a place and then a month later think late at night I really must write a review about that place so that others can enjoy it too. The only down side is... More

Really good selection of tasty seafood and a nice wine list. Fishcakes starter was far more interesting and flavoursome than you might think and the monkfish and pesto main was perfect. The portions were a decent size so only room for a scoop of light cinnamon ice cream for dessert. Yes, it might have been a bit pricey, but not... More
