Went here for lunch and what a treat as a great selection of fresh seafood cooked to perfection. Staff very friendly and attentive, A little cold in the restaurant as we sat near the door but will definitely return for Dinner and ask for a table further in so a little warmer.

Sitting on a pier over looking the loch, makes a fantastic setting for a restaurant. The food was good but could wish more local produce was used. The service was also friendly and relaxed.

Never had a meal here before but was looking for a nice comfortable setting with great food and as this is on my own doorstep it`s has been a terrible oversight on my part . Wet evening arrive to a wood burning stove which is most welcoming and very cheery ,were seated at couches to peruse Menus and specials board... More

In Fort William for lunch after travelling from Glasgow on Saturday. The reviews for The Crannog were very good so we thought that we should give it a try. It was just after 2.00pm and the restaurant wasn't busy. The weather was great so we had a great view. We both ordered the smoked mackerel salad which was delicious. For... More

We dined here for my birthday as it had been recommended by a friend who stays locally, on the first night of our trip 'up North'. I had to try their 25th anniversary wine, as it was my 25th too - I was pleased with the choice! I felt that what you get is very good value for money -... More

Excellent seafood here. Slightly pricey but totally worth what you pay for a great dinner. I had a hake fillet for dinner and my wife had a sole. Both felt like they were freshly caught from the waters below the restaurant! Excellent setting, great food.

Very quaint and for fish lovers a super menu. However it was very expensive and not the best meal I have had. Compared to what else was available in the town it was the best.

Fresh tasty perfectly cooked fish , lots of choice for fish eaters and a nice but smaller selection for none fish eaters. We were a party of 22 and they coped with us brilliantly. Nobody had a single bad comment . I would defiantly eat here again
