Very quaint and for fish lovers a super menu. However it was very expensive and not the best meal I have had. Compared to what else was available in the town it was the best.

This is the third time of eating at the Crannog and the food was great as usual, Picked from the Lunch Menue and the soup was good also the fish cakes were to die for, would recomend this Restaurant if you are in Fort William.

Fresh tasty perfectly cooked fish , lots of choice for fish eaters and a nice but smaller selection for none fish eaters. We were a party of 22 and they coped with us brilliantly. Nobody had a single bad comment . I would defiantly eat here again

There aren't many 'normal' restaurants in Fort William ie ability to provide food without chips, but this certainly exceeded that requirement. For our initial drink, two of us were undecided and were invited to explore the range of "unusual" gins with the result that one of us tried a Caorunn garnished with apple and I had a Botonist garnished with... Very nice, although very busy. Recommand that you book table some day in advance. We where able to order 'off' the meny to satisfy the taste of our children 11 and 13 years old.

Stopped for a late lunch midweek. We were the only people in the restaurant on a beautiful sunny day. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the place is very pleasant. The food was OK: very fresh fish well cooked let down a bit by unimaginative and over rich accompaniments. Perhaps we were just unlucky in our menu choices. I'd... More

Enjoyed a great dinner here with family in October. Good selection of Scottish beers. Our party chose four different fish dishes - all were fresh and excellently prepared, starting with delicious basket of bread. My monkfish was outstanding! Service was friendly. We made a late booking and felt lucky to have a table at all - if we go back,... More

Eaten there twice recently and very well impressed on both occasions. One was for a full blown a la carte treat for a birthday and the other for a special deal lunch on a very wet and stormy day. We will be back soon!

We had an evening meal here in November. We both had one of the specials for our mains which we would highly recommend. The food was fresh and cooked to an excellent standard. They have a special issue wine which is a bit sweet for my taste but a nice touch. The dessert (another special) was beautifully presented! Would recommend... More

On a rainy day, the building looks a little bit derelict. But once e in the restaurant, you discover a very cosy and well run restaurant. Staff is friendly, fish is fresh and nicely prepared. A must go
