I visited no4 with my family (ages - 63,70,15,43) we were just looking for a place to have dinner after a long day of traveling, we stumbled across no4 which was tucked away in a little corner, when we first walked in to no4 there was no one around, after a minute of waiting someone finally arrived, we were seated... My husband and I spent the weekend in Fort William recently and prior to going - almost two months before going - we were looking for a restaurant for the Saturday evening. We booked the No4 by email and received confirmation. When we arrived the place was shut. It was a really awful wet night and we don't know Fort... More

I should have known by the fact that there were cash only signs on the window and we were the only people in the place that this was going to be a dodgy experience! I had smoked salmon as a starter, this was the tough scraps of salmon you can buy cheaply in a supermarket, but worse! Dad had soup... More

Struggling on New Years Eve to find somewhere to eat we came across No.4 tucked away in a corner just off the main street. They were empty and about to close at 9.15pm but said they would stay open for us. The service was good. We both had Chicken with Lemon & Mustard sauce. Really nice meal and would recommend.

We were really quite desperate to find somewhere but surprisingly we found this place off the main street. The service was good, the choices were adequate and the food was OK too. It was very quiet (late season), so a little weird but we would certainly recommend.

My wife had eaten lunch here before and was obviously uncertain about recommending it to me, even though she said she had a good meal here. It was a grey, damp and chilly evening in October and when we entered the place was empty. We were shown to a table in the conservatory and had excellent starters and main courses,... More

We went here because it was recommended by our B&B hosts but quite frankly, I'm not sure why. We were greeted and given a menu, however when we didn't see anything we liked and decided to try another place, we were given another menu? We decided to stay but now I wish we'd just left. Food was overpriced and while... More
