Great spot after a day of walking the local hills. Wonderful to see Orkney Ales on the drinks menu which I partook in. I chose to have the Venison Sausage which was perfect after todays walking. Lots of local ingredients on the menu in this restaurant. Not so sure about the open kitchen fad - it's not a cooking show... More

My wife and I had an excellent meal here but it is not cheap. The staff are friendly and the wines were good. The only disappointment was the cheese selection.

The ambience and service were great - the food delicious. The art gallery attached was an interesting addition too.

We had a deli gleeful dinner at the lime tree. We mde reservations for a Tuesday night (and would suggest because this is a small restaurant). My wife got the steak and is still talking about the infused butter. Service was wonderful, atmosphere was equally as great. Would definitely highly recommend to anyone in fort William.

A very enjoyable meal, with great cooking using fresh, local produce. The service was good and we thought it very good value for money. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this restaurant.

This was the third restaurant we went to for dinner during our stay in Fort William. It was certainly a good address, though probably the least Scottish one in the whole of our stay in the region. The actual dining room had dim lights and very large rustic tables scattered around an even larger room. The advantage was that we... More

We had an opportunity to eat in Fort William so I took to the internet and by far the most talked about place to go was the Lime Tree. Good reviews, a mention in the Michelin guide all pointed to a great meal so we booked a table We didn't get off the a great start - we arrived a... More

Having read some of the reviews about poor service we were not sure what to expect. The dining room is charming and cosy but with good-sized tables, and we enjoyed being able to see the activity in the kitchen area, without it being a distraction, . Although we were served by different people throughout the evening, the pace of the... More
