We were in Fort William for a couple of nights and we didn't know where to try to get a nice meal at 19.30 with a (sleeping) 6 month old in tow. We walked past a sign for this place and went up to check it out. When we went in, there was a hotel reception desk and not only... read more

We stayed couple of nights in Fort William, and we went for dinner at different places and this was the best. Friendly staff and amazing food from the amuse to the dessert and coffee....better than the restaurant at the pier 'cr****'.....and all the other....

We visited Lime Tree after a long day skiing. We were celebrating my belated 21st birthday. Service was attentive and to a very high standard. When the food was placed in front of us it was a masterpiece and the flavours were mind-blowing. We'd highly recommend this lovely, quaint restaurant to anyone wanting a fine dining experience with beautiful British... More

Having visited a couple of years ago, I recommended this place to my friends when we went back to stay in the Fort for the weekend. We all had different starters, mains and dessert, and each one of us enjoyed our food immensely. The only small irritation was, after reading the menu in the afternoon, I had my heart set... More

Came for dinner, we (2 ppl) wanted the beef, waiter said they only had one left, abd this was at 6.30pm!! So, my partner ordered the rabbit which was so salty she almost couldn't eat it. When we told the waiter he just said that he was sorry, no reductions or anything. My dish was alright but for the price... More

We enjoyed a great meal here on a recent stay in Fort William. The service was very good the waiter was very pleasant and polite, they stock a great choice of local beers and the food is all locally sourced. We had the onion soup & ox cheek to start then venison and guinea fowl to follow, the meals were... More

Part of the 3 for 2 night deal was to eat at the restaurant. This was fine by us, as the food was delicious and service was very good.

Great spot after a day of walking the local hills. Wonderful to see Orkney Ales on the drinks menu which I partook in. I chose to have the Venison Sausage which was perfect after todays walking. Lots of local ingredients on the menu in this restaurant. Not so sure about the open kitchen fad - it's not a cooking show... More
