Since there are 2 Inverlochy Castles, not sure if this is the correct spot for this! The Castle remains on the shores of the River Lochy are in quite good shape considering the battles that took place nearby. The curtain walls are in wonderful condition and all four turrets are still mostly in place. All in all a worthwhile stop... More

We enjoyed a nice meal in a lovely location, but it wasn't special enough to warrant the price, and the service was good but not spectacular- we had to ask for water refills numerous times. If you want to have a meal in special ambience, perhaps go here for high tea and save your money

Just stopped by in our way to the glen coe to have a cup of tea. Very nice and well maintained castle, delicious tea and biscuits, friendly service, not too expensive. Nice building and garden with a Rolls Royce ready to carry you anywhere

Nothing to fault, great wine and canapés, delicious dinner, rounded off with fine coffee and petit-fours. Immaculate service and atmospheric dining room.

We had great food. The taster meal. I liked all of the courses. We were given a couple of taster foods off the menu which were also good. No complaints.

We stopped by for Afternoon Tea in the salon with family and were warmly greeted and had an excellent lunch. I am a travel agent and asked to see the rooms and suites and was very impressed with the very size of the rooms and suites. The guests were reading in the lobby area and used this space more like... We are two working girls from the States and, while we kept our cool, we did little to hide our excitement as we dined here for dinner. The staff here is impeccable. The sommelier magically appeared to answer questions about wine-pairing -- they treated us like royalty. Ordering the cheese dish for dessert was practically a show in itself as... More

We had dinner at Inverlochy Castle during our stay there. It was a unique, formal dining experience that is not your typical dining experience. Pre dinner drinks were served in the living room where there was a fireplace - very handy for a cold night on Skye. We were then led into the dining room which overlooked the gardens. The... More

Lunch at Inverlochy Castle was very special, not to mention expensive; but, a worthwhile indulgence, especially when celebrating a milestone birthday at a Michelin Single-Starred restaurant. Our friends had made this reservation several weeks before our arrival in Scotland to celebrate a 65th birthday, which was unbeknownst to our hosts. After our experience with them, I now wonder what would... More

The castle is well signed and easy to get to from Fort William. It is only the ruins left but worth a visit. It was raining the day we went - could have spent more time if a lovely day.
