Simply everything was fabulous .... Had an excellent dinner - local produce cooked and served to perfection ..... Breakfast was great too although I passed on the whisky in my porridge. Highly recommended

Perfect! No downside at all from the table setting, menu design, taste, plate layout, variety and service. We took an hour slow walk in the garden between the main course and desert during dinner which was delightful. And we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious desert. It was a big meal so we were very happy about the mini break. It has... More

We had our lunch here today which we consider for good value considering overall experience. After 3 courses for 38 pounds we didnt even needed dinner. The hotel is lovely, staff was friendly. Great plus is that you get automatically free water served with your lunch. The lunch also includes coffee and petit four. For starter I had scallops which... More

The menu features international cuisine with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal Scottish produce. The food can be on the heavy side, but one may request a salad. The service, staff, ambience, view, wine list and experience are first rate.

The food was pretty average to be honest for a michelin star restaurant. The dish was pretty imbalanced due to the lack of potatoes and the dried up carrot garnish wasn't exactly appealing. The presence of the cheese trolley behind and the aromas it gave off was also extremely distracting when trying to enjoy a "nice" dinner. In general, the... More

Very pretty palace, lovely surroundings, luxurious regal premises, romantic surroundings, breathtaking landscape, a special experience. Really nice cuisine, desserts could be better though. Staff on the whole polite but a bit rushed to check us out although place was empty hardly any clients. Chef was kind enough to go out of his way to cook for us on a Sunday... More

I had always wanted to go to eat at the Inverlochy Castle for years given that it is one of the only places in Scotland with a Michelin star so when I was in Fort William over Christmas I thought I would treat the family to a great lunch. On the website they advertise the lunch as good value, which... More

Arriving at the Inverlochy Castle is like stepping back in time and up a few rungs on the social ladder. From being welcomed to leaving, we felt like honoured friends rather than dinner guests. Hors d'oeuvres and drinks in the great hall was relaxing. The meal was superb. Coffee and nibbles after was memorable. The whole experience was sumptuous, as... More

I planned a first visit to this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. We decided on lunch and Monday being the day arrived to find ourselves the only patrons. Sometimes this is uncomfortable but at Inverlochy we were given the best table and had the sense that we could enjoy the experience, which we did unreservedly. The menu was delightful,... More

Back once again for a delightful lunch with family, the overall service, food and fantastic friendly staff make Inverlochy the ultimate luncheon venue in Scotland. It, one could say, is almost addictive!!
