We stayed 3 nights on the ski and stay package with breakfast and evening meal included. All the staff were very friendly and more than willing to help with anything. Breakfast was cooked to order not buffet which was great and also with a nice selection of continental aswell, both options were very tasty. Bar food was equally as good... More

I wasn't very keen on eating there when I first walked in, but what a wrong judgement that was! A very tasteful food and reasonable portions.

We ate here two nights in a row as the meal had been so good on the first night. The service was excellent and the food was lovely on the first night but it was a bit different on the second night. It started off well when all the starters came together, but then my husband and I got our... More

We visited following a recommendation from the B&B that we were staying at. The meal was good, without being great. We ordered tempura vegetables for starters which were tasty; followed by a beef burger and sea bass dish. The burger had potential but was missing some fresh tomato and seasoning. We also asked if we could have fried onions instead... More

We went in for a quick hot drink before our walk, tea and hot chocolate were very nice. We would have gone back for dinner but they had a wedding on or something.

We went to do a circuit from Fort William taking in the Nevis Range and Neptune's staircase. After a disappointment at the Range we went to the Caledonian Canal and to the Staircase. It was raining heavily and we decided to call in at the Moorings. There was a Christmas lunch on the menu so we tried that..it was excellent.... More

We ate at this hotel 3 times whilst we were staying in Lochaber and we cannot fault it at all. The meals were really good and the service was prompt and friendly. The eating area is pleasant enough too. It isn't the cheapest place to eat but the quality of the food is really good. Would recommend it to anyone.

After being out in the cold wind and sleet popped in here and some of their homemade lentil soup and a roll. It certainly hit the spot. Delicious and tasty - just what was needed. Attentive staff and friendly atmosphere

We have eaten here a number of times and the food is certainly getting better. My wife had venison and it was delicious. I had chicken and it was a bit dried out. Vegetables were perfect. Puddings were OK. Good atmosphere. Rating better than average so should probably be 31/2 but not quite good enough for 4. Perfect location being... More
