staff were overworked and moody. food was average at best with 3 people refusing to pay for theirs out of a party of 26 .food portions were small for the price you pay i felt that they needed to plan ahead better for a large group and that they just wanted to squeeze as many people into the restaurant as... It was nice and quiet I think we were there in between bus tours, we got good service and good grub, just what we needed.

We walked from Glenlochy to Banavie and enjoyed a lovely lunch. The staff were extremely friendly and even brought our pooch a bowl of water. Food was excellent as was the Deuchar's ale.

You can order your breakfast as you like, and for the adventurous American, you can even get kippers! Our dinners were delicious, especially the medallions of Scottish beef. Yum!

Hotel is nice but a bit dated, location is very nice though especially on a nice sunny day. Service was good - staff were attentive with drinks and menus. Food was fine but a bit expensive for what you got. Child's sausage and mash was just 3 sausages (tasted nice) and a lump of mash for £5.50 with no veg... More

Nothing to complain about but just ordinary pub fayre in a fantastic location. Definitely recommend if you're in the vicinity as little else available nearby, but don't expect to get a place without booking as it was busy during our visit on a hot summer's day.

On the outskirts of Fort William is a fantastic hotel and restaurant. We were too late to book a room but, following a prefious stay there chose to eat there. The staff were freindly, the food well-presented and very palatable, and the weather pleasant enough to sit outside. Importantly for us, there was a reasonable vegetarian menu. Afterwards you can... We ate here after recommendation from our hosts. We rang ahead to check how busy the restaurant was and were told not too busy, so headed down with our two young sons. On arrival we were told there were no tables but were shown across a large function room to a table all on our own completely separate from the... More
