Delicious food

We booked at cafe mango after climbing Ben Nevis. The delicious warming food we had was just what we needed. We both had a saag wala - a spinach based chicken curry. The spicing was just right for us as it was flavoursome but not too hot. I would usually have asked for an extra kick though. The... read more

I have been to Cafe Mango many times, my most recent visit being today, and they never fail to disappoint. Their Thai food is what first attracted me, and whilst the menu is quite simple, the food is of a very high standard. Having found the Indian Restaurant I have used in Fort William for 25 years go downhill somewhat,... More

Fist the good bits... Both the curries we had were tasty and well presented, as were the starters. The Thai Green was particularly nice. The service also wasn't bad and the draught Cobra was good. Now the bad bits. The keema nan I order was absolutely dripping in ghee, to the point where the meat fell out - I've never... More

Maybe it was just a bad day but the service at Cafe Mango was very very slow. There were not sufficient staff to cope and it took over an hour for our dinner to arrive. When our meal did arrive it was very tasty although not many fresh vegetables. When he bill arrived it seemed expensive given the food and... More

We had a really nice diner here. Both ordered different dishes so we could tatsed all kinds of flavours without regret. We enjoyed it and would recomment this restaurant to all who want to eat something else then fish and chips.

I went to Cafe Mango with my parents who don't speak english and don't know well indian food. We were well looked after in terms of dishes selection and the food was very tasty, fresh and homely. I wish I'd would have an indian restaurant that cooks so well were I live (Dumfries and Galloway)

Looking forward to Thai good but it was totally unsuitable for vegetarians. Everything has fish or oyster sauce. Our brilliant Thai restaurant at home does not. Indian good fine and staff very nice.

I had Thai chicken noodles which were just quite hot but without any taste. You could have been eating anything. My husband had a Thai yellow chicken curry which was a very artificial in colour and coconut flavouring. Again very hot even though it should have been mild. We were told when finished it could have been made milder but... More
