Ate here on a busy Saturday evening. Glad we had booked a table because lots of people without reservations were turned away or asked to come back later. Service was fine but clearly the waiting staff were very busy. Food was lovely. Only slight issue was the white wine was not very chilled. That aside we had a lovely Indian... More

We went here as we saw an offer on the black board outside. The waiter told us that this is an Lunch offer. We ask why the black board is still outside. The waiter walked away. Any way we decided to eat here from the A la carte. The food was not bad, however the service and welcoming is so... More

A good Thai/Indian restaurant, with excellent food. They changed the starter platter for us so that there were only gluten free items on it. Unfortunately, the poppadoms we had ordered for while we looked at the menu only arrived after the starter! However, all the food was very tasty and the heat of the dishes did match their descriptions. We... More

It was not bad, but not great either. The lamb was a little tough, but reasonably nice flavorings on the dishes. Our waiter was friendly and helpful.

Everything about this meal was wrong. From the start: poppadoms were stale and amazingly the spiced onions tasted off. The only taste from the pakora was overused cooking oil. Chicken tikka biriyani was absolutely appalling, greasy tasteless rice with what could only be described as reheated chicken tikka morsels throughout. It came with a "hot" sauce that tasted like Heinz... More

We were travelling through Scotland staying in Fort William for two nights. In search of an evening meal we came across Cafe Mango, which seemed to look good from the outside. Once settled in however we had the impression that we were distinctly treated as tourists as staff made a strong difference between us and other customers, most of whom... More

After trailing the Main Street of Fort William on the hope of good food, we opted for Cafe Mango. First impressions were good, friendly welcoming staff, modern interior and varied menu. Our meal got off to a good start with poppodoms and pickle tray that was nice. Our mains, however, lacked substance...lots of spice and nowt else. The accompaniments were... More

Chose our meal from the Thai menu at this Indian/Thai restaurant on the main street of Fort William. The starters of Thai mango salad & vegetables in tempura batter were beautifully presented and very tasty. The tempura batter was light and the vegetables fresh & crispy. The yellow Thai chicken curry main course was a little spicier than anticipated, but... More
