Good meal

We enjoyed a good meal here on our last evening in Fort William. The weather was dreadful outside but the welcome was warm and the food was very nice. The service was a bit slow but we really enjoyed our meal. I tried something new and loved it and my husband also tried something different and... read more

My sister and I while in Fort Williams decided to visit Café Mango. She had never had Thai or Indian food, so it was an opportunity for a huge forever fan. The hostess was very pleasant and quickly sat us. She brought us our soda and a coffee very promptly. A young man took our order - an appetizer Chicken... More

We ate in the charmless upper restaurant, which to me smelt slightly of stale smoke. My Thai green chicken curry dish was of average quality, the rice was however good. Service was good. The meal was expensive for what you get.

This was a surprise find in Fort William's High Street. The name suggests more of a coffee shop or ice cream parlour, not a Thai/Indian restaurant! It looks nothing special from outside, but inside the food and the service were excellent. We opted not to have starters, but our main courses and naan bread were freshly cooked and served within... After several days on the West Highland Way, it was time for something other than pub food. The Cafe Mango fit the bill perfectly...well-prepared Thai and Indian food, reasonably priced, and served in comfortable surroundings. Nothing fancy here...just good food and decent prices. We enjoyed the prawn stir fries, the Thai green curries, and the samosas. If you look in... More

I'm from the U.S. So call me spoiled, but I was taken back at the fact that the main course (mango chicken) was over £10, and did not even include rice. That was another £3. That's about $20! I'd have been ok if it was £9 WITH rice included, but it's just too pricey the way they price it. £60... More

We Stopped by on our way to Skye. It was the perfect stop. We had the Thai Chicken Curry. It was excellent. We ate every last morsel as did the table next to us. Go now, go often. Oh they had great Indian food too!

We stopped in Fort William for one night on the way to Skye, and while parts of the city center seemed a bit shabby, Cafe Mango stood out as the kind of restaurant you'd find in a much larger city. We enjoyed our meal here, and the service was professional and attentive. Also, the restaurant is elegantly decorated. If this... More
