Fantastic meal which accommodated my allergies!

After being refused at another local establishment due to my allergies staff at Browns were more than happy to accommodate me. I had a lovely meal with fantastic service in a comfortable, modern atmosphere and most importantly I am not unwell today! Thank you very much, myself and my friends will... read more

On our second evening in Fort William (on our way back to Essex from Skye) we were recommended to eat here by the B & B we were staying at (rated no. 1 on Tripadvisor). For me, in particular, it turned out to be a disappointing evening, especially compared to the night before. My seat at the table was directly... More

We got a table here on the weekend after trying a few other places, but were so glad of it once the food came. My husband had mussels in white wine sauce and I had the lamb- both were perfectly cooked and efficiently served. The desserts could have been better.

Browns was a fantastic choice of restaurant for our family meal. Plenty of selection and top quality food. The staff were attentive, friendly and always had a smile. There was 8 in our party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The sea bass was wonderful and as for the mini desserts..mmmmmm xx thank you to the staff for singing happy... More

We only had one evening in Fort William and our host recommended the Browns for dinner. We were totally happy with that recommandation. The staff made us a table available eventhough they were fully crowded already. The scallops were definetly the best we ever had so far! The sea bass is also very good.

Food was excellent, i thoroughly recommend the seafood. Prices resonable for very good standard. Service good, with friendly and efficient staff. We will be back.

We ate here twice, my wife had the fish on both occasions and I had the lamb one evening and sea bream on the second night. We really enjoyed both meals and the atmosphere in the restaurant which appeared to be well patronised by the local population. The adjoining bar was equally good and the staff attentive.

This restaurant came recommended from another innkeeper on the WHW. We were excited to celebrate our completion although this poorly managed restaurant was a huge disappointment. The staff was rough and ill-prepared, food average and a sub par ambiance.

Stayed at Nevis Bank Inn and dined at Browns Restaurant our first night. The food and service was very good. However, for being near the water there is very little seafood on the menu. Browns also serve breakfast which was very good with more choices then a full Scottish breakfast.

Often the "breakfast included" in hotels is disappointing. This was not! There was a cold buffet, but also a full hot breakfast menu to order from. My husband had the full Scottish breakfast, I had poached eggs and smoked salmon. Both were excellent!
