Food and service excellent. Cleanliness first class. Not much atmosphere but this was due to lack of diners. This did not spoil the overall experience.

This was our first meal since arriving in Fort William, and i have to say i am not overly impressed. Ordered a sharing platter as a starter which went down nicely but the main course of steak was like a cheap steak from the shelf of the local supermarket, and to make it look fancy came out on a sizzling... We've been in Scotland a week. We travelled from Edinburgh, through the national park then to fort William where we climbed Ben Nevis, visited Steall Falls, to Loch Ness then surrounding attractions. We've eaten at a lot of places this week - tonight's meal at this restaurant was by far the best meal we've had BY FAR. I'd even go... More

Meze style sharing plate was very good. Avoid the Battered Haddock if you are like me and cannot eat greasy food. Had specially asked if the food was oily and was reassured it would not be, however mine was literally sitting in a small pool of oil - I asked for it to be blotted but its batter was much... More

Hubby and I came here after another restaurant couldn't accommodate us. It's a really nice restaurant with a contemporary and modern feel. Staff are friendly and service is good. For all that many were dressed up for a Saturday night, they didn't have any problem accommodating us in our go outdoors gear! I can honestly say this was the nicest... More

I have had the pleasure to eat in Brown's some 5 or 7 times. NICE........ However the penny dropped at just how fantastic Brown's is when I spent a day at Gleneagles, where by I treated us to the 5*experience in one of their restaurants. It's at this point in the review that I am struggling to explain just how... More

Food was exceptional. Ate four nights in a row and delicious every night. Large portions too. Breakfast good too with plenty of choice. Very friendly, professional staff.

This restaurant had some of the best food we experienced whilst visiting the UK and Ireland. It made the best of local ingredients & beautifully cooked - salmon, mussels, chicken all great flavour. Deserts also great.
