Very highly recommend

This was a surprise. We just happened to go past this place and thought of stopping and were so glad we did. The ambience is great and the food is delicious. At first we were offered bar stools. Then one of the senior staff saw us struggling to get on and gave us a proper table. We had the... read more

We visited on Thursday, 27 August 2015, and had the steak respectively chicken. We also started off with 'something to share' for two (as a starter). It was just wonderful. However, everyting seems to be badly portioned here. We purposely didn't finish our starters, as there wouldn't have been any space for the mains (we normally are medium to big... More

I try to pop in for lunch when in the area. Never disappointed - great coffee, good value tasty food - and a peaceful place to eat in the hubub of Fort William in the summer. Free wi-fi too - will be back.

We found this restaurant by accident as it is just outside of the town, but within walking distance. We didn't book and they were very busy, however the team were honest and accommodating. They made sure we had drinks and were served in good time, even though they had managed our expectations. Food was very good, local mussels were fantastic,... More

Superb food presented by attentive staff who, despite being very busy, were friendly and accommodating. There were subtle changes to the menu each day.

They made us wait in comfy couches for a table that was ready when we arrived. But the couches were comfy and we had gin so who cares. It's a holiday. What's the rush? Food and service was great.

I wished this resturant with colleagues for a business meeting and the service and food was excellent. As a frequent visitor to Fort William I would say this is probably one of the best restuarants but a bit more expensive than the establishments in the centre of town. I would throughly recommend as our visit was a prefect experience.

We enjoyed dinner at Browns Restaurant on a Wednesday night. We did call ahead for booking. The restaurant was lively and there was plenty of staff to assist. We had the lamb and the sea bass. Both were excellent tasting and well prepared. The Mussels starter was not available, however, as there is an issue with getting them because of... More

We found it noisy, tho they did turn the music down a bit. We agree that we arrived early for our booking and they did seat us at our table, but it was still 15 minutes after our booking time when our order finally got taken. Placed the order, only to be told after several minutes that they were lacking... More

I have never had a better dining experience! The food was mind blowing... The lamb literally fell apart (my partner and mum had that) and the chicken wrapped bacon was just an explosion of flavour. The sauce was just wow!!
