Everything was perfect

Went there with my parents. Had 3 different main courses (I had the hake) and all cooked to perfection. Chose the mini taster desserts and they were great too. Reasonable prices too.

Four of us booked in advance. Friendly welcome, reasonable choice of menu. Service excellent and very attentive throughout. We all enjoyed our different choices which were of reasonable portion size and very well presented. Restaurant got busier a bit later but tables well spaced out and low noise level. Really nice surroundings. Price for food was good however the alcoholic... More

My partner and I dined here whilst on holiday in the Highlands. We decided to have a nice meal out and the reviews made us choose Browns. The food itself was excellent, and service was very quick. I'd highly recommend the venison casserole (so much meat!), although the veg was a little less crunchy than I like it, however that's... More

A brilliant restaurant offering a good choice of food at a reasonable price. We had two great evening meals there, my wife was on a strict diet and the restaurant staff could not have been more helpful with her choice of meal. There's really no other place to eat in Fort William. We will definitely eat in Browns restaurant again.

A pretentious menu with too many items to be convincing. The scallop starter costing £10-25 consisted of 3 tiny over cooked scallops, taste totally drowned in a sauce consisting of mushed apples. The roast duck to follow was overcooked, tough and tasteless and meagre in portion size. Service was excellent, however. There are far better places to eat in Fort... More

The food was okay, it was better than other places in the area but nothing special. I received my food very quickly however it seemed slightly rushed and a tad messy. I did have a great night with friends and the atmosphere was good so I'll be back.
