Waitstaff were everywhere but seemed to be disorganised and very inexperienced. Some training would be a good thing. Food was ok but overcooked and messy.

Had dinner here a couple of years ago with friends and loved it so when I came back this week with my hubby it was the obvious place to go for lunch - couldn't fault it again. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff, fantastic freshly cooked food and very clean, modern and comfortable dining area. Home made pistachio ice cream is... More

Dreadful dining experience here. Mussels overcooked, bream so saturated in oil that veg and potatoes had turned to mush. Pasta with basil and tomato sauce had raw onions and tomatoes through it which made it inedible. Waiter also had severe body odour problem to add insult to injury. On complaining about quality of food staff deducted the pasta dish from... More

We stopped for a late lunch and it looked like it might be closed as there were no cars in the parking lot so I went in to ask if they could serve 8. They assured me they could. It turned out to be a wise choice. One of the best meals we've had in 3 weeks in Scotland! They... More

We enjoyed professional service, a modern but cosy atmosphere, delicious food (haggis bon bons, spring chicken fillet, mini desserts) in a restaurant that is situated at the northern end of Fort William but in easy walking distance. Prices are not cheap, but good value- when we're back in the area we surely will book a table at Brown's once again.

My wife and I ate 3 times in Browns when we stayed at the Nevis Bank hotel. We had sea bass and cod for our meals. AII delicious. Great desserts especially the moni selection. We also had breakfast in Browns. Very friendly and attentive staff. We will look forward to our next visit.

Browns Restaurant delivers a premium dining service. The black finish really lifts up the restaurant. The food was displayed nicely, quickly served, and tasted great. Even though the staff were not as attentive as we hoped, and once forgot our order for coffee, I would say the overall service was good. Value for money is pretty good not excellent. Overall...
