My partner and I dined there for dinner on 4th Jan. The restaurant was empty apart from us, so we expected a quick dinner. We had a haggis timbale to start, followed by venison lasagne and scampi and chips. Overall food was good but waitress disinterested. Didn't offer to pour our water or wine, failed to check back after main... More

We enjoyed our meals at this restaurant during our New year package and have to say that the food was excellent and beautifully presented. Also wonderful views over loch lochy and the mountains beyond. Highly recommend.

Lovely food great service and the view of the Loch was stupendous with a lovely quiet atmosphere. Breakfast in the morning had an excellent choice and once again the attentive staff made sure we lacked for nothing.

Stayed at the hotel in September. Ate twice in the restaurant. On both occasions we had a three course menu, the food was beautifully presented, fresh produce and an extensive menu to choose from. We had some very good fish dishes too.

I enjoyed my meal here - excellent service, very pleasant food - but lacked something "special" for me to up the score. Judging by the empty plates going back to the kitchen - everyone enjoyed their meals. I had pate, then chicken balmoral - tasty - but more sauce required to help with the great helpings of veg. The sticky... More

We had dinner at 6:00pm on a Sunday night. The restaurant has a wonderful view out over the large deck to Loch Lochy. Service was very friendly and efficient. Food was plentiful, fresh, beautifully presented and very tasty. I had smoked salmon starter, lamb cutlets, and cranachan while my wife had chicken liver pate, mushroom ravioli and sticky toffee pudding.... More

We were staying nearby in Spean Bridge and twice had an evening meal at the restaurant (2 adults/2 children). Quality of the meals on both occasions was very good. Although we weren't offered a children's menu (on either occasion) a choice of options was available for children on asking, which again were very good quality. Restaurant was busy so consider... My partner and I stumbled upon the Osprey Restaurant whilst on the look out for a good Restaurant. We wasn't staying at the Hotel but would definitely consider this in future. We had an evening meal where I had Ravioli and my husband had the Steak Pie. Although both were presented with very high standards, my mushroom sauce was spoilt... More

Sited on the majestic banks of Loch Lochy, this restaurant delights in both the quality of its food and in its friendly, attentive staff. The restaurant itself is smartly decorated, having clearly had plenty of attention in recent years. It still holds onto its feel as a highland lodge however, and with its windowed lounge commands excellent views across the... More
