Nice view and ambiance

Had dinner here before the Crannog evening cruise. Upstairs at the back has a nice view of the water. Dinner and food were average. I'd go back becaus it was a nice atmosphere.

We arrived on spec on a Saturday night. We are two families, a party of 9 combined. We were hopeful of getting seated but weren't surprised when they said they were fully booked. We were looking for a meal on the Monday evening so we called in during the day to book a table. We were told that they don't... More

This restaurant has so much potential but it wasn't realized with our dinner there. We waited an hour to be seated despite the restaurant being mostly empty when we arrived. The mussels were old and rubbery, which was surprising since we expected fresh seafood from this part of Scotland. I ordered the amazing-sounding halloumi salad which arrived without any dressing... Would have liked to sit outside on the deck, but unfortunately it rained the day we were here. Nice location for lunch - fish and chips were great!

We arrived about 6:30 pm on a Saturday evening and got a table quickly. We had tried on the Friday night and been told it was an hours wait! The staff were on hand to take our drinks a food orders quickly. After that the service got worse. It wasn't that busy but took at least 30/40 minutes for the... More

The restaurant is above the pub, its best to book in the main season as they get very busy. When our name was called we went upstairs. The staff were very friendly and as i am a vegetarian i was advised what was available, quite a few choices. The other people in my party made their choices, There was a... More

We went at 6.30pm on Monday evening. We had to wait 1hour for a table for food but didn't mind as we thought of we had to wait then the food must be good...we should have known better. Got our table at 7.30 and order was taken promptly. We had 2 kids with us. Starter arrived at 8pm...nachos were edible....and... More

The restaurant is above the pub. It is very well appointed and the staff were on hand to seat you. We were quickly given a menu and served with a drink but had to wait quite a while to have our order taken. The menu was varied with a wide choice of local ingredients. The food when it arrived was... More

Eating area upstairs, seated quickly and served, long wait between starter and main, steak and ale pie completely dried out and should have been removed from menu, staff very pleasant, ribs were good , reasonably priced.
