Went in here on a Saturday evening and what can I say. The downstairs bars are fantastic, comfy clean and tidy, sky sports on and pool table. Staff and customers alike are friendly. Eating in munro restaurant upstairs was amazing, best steak I've ever had full stop, starter ran it close as best meal I've ever eaten. The staff were... More

Don't bother with this place. Served wine in a glass with lipstick marks all around the rim and no glass with a bottle of beer. Cutlery arrived after the starters. The prawn and chorizo starter had 1 prawn. Wrong main course was brought to the table. When the right food did arrive the steak was tasteless, the onion rings were... More

Loved location. Gift shop had many great gifts. Found the staff very informative as to everything we asked about. Very good experience.

Came in for some supper as we'd been before. Unfortunately the food is very apparently reheated. Mash that my wife had kind of gave the game away. Okay but not as good as it has been in the past.

The Ben Nevis Inn that is the No 1 on TA and a little out of town. We've mistakenly ended up here and seriously between cold food, half non existing wine list, this place is an absolute disaster. Honestly just don't bother ... There is absolutely nothing to look forward to here. Keep walking ...

We simply came across this place by chance and not expecting too much, but we found the food to be exceptional, the service was great, we had a wild boar burger and lemon chicken which were superb. A service tip is not accepted on the credit card machine, so ensure you have some cash with you, as the staff are... More

My family and I ate here in September 14 and although the food was good enough for a pub the service was really slow. When we went into the bar and asked for a table we were told 20 minutes but, waited almost an hour. When we were seated we waited another 15 minutes before being asked what we wanted... More

Restaurant is above the pub - gets very busy which is an indication of its quality and popularity. Food is very good value and we would recommend the Fish Pie also the Balmoral Chicken and the Lemon Chicken - Whisky and Caramel Ice Cream is worth a try too !! Staff are very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Also,... More

The restaurant is upstairs above the pub. It gets busy quite quickly (best to arrive before 7pm) and despite there being few staff on duty, we got served quickly. I did hear a few other diners nearby complain about having to wait, but the place was very busy. The food is good value and decent quality. It certainly arrives steaming... More
