We live locally and wanted to try something new as a takeaway. Blown away by how authentic the Thai curries are (chef and co-owner is Thai so it really is the real deal). Nice blend of café by day and restaurant by night. Bring your own bottle makes it even more affordable! It's a must for anyone living in or... More

We were fairly restricted to eating within the High Street area of Fort William when we stayed up there. This was because we had no car with us and we were staying at the Travelodge, so in an effort to avoid an unpleasant dining experience I researched the nearby restaurants and eateries on Tripadvisor before we got there. (Although as... More

Fantasticly tasty, relaxed atmosphere, great value for money when it's unlicensed as you can take your own wine.

We were in fort William for the downhill World Cup and we're lucky to find this place. The food was delicious (although a cheesy Thai starter a bit weird). Honestly one if the best red curries I've had, perfectly spiced and really fresh tasting. Friendly staff and locals. We'll definitely go back if we come again.

We noticed that this restaurant rated highly on TA so ventured there after a few disappointing 'local' meals. Not being licenced was a surprise but not the end of the world. The menu was extremely limited with only 3 choices for starters, maybe about 10 for mains (no Pad Thai which is strange) and only chicken, prawns, vegetarian offered for... More

This is a fantastic place for coffee and bagels or cakes, etc. it should be bursting at the seams with customers. Always our first choice. Staff friendly, helpful and service really excellent. Can't rate it highly enough! Well done Sugar and Spice!! May try the night time Thai restaurant next visit!

Tried for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised. Overall food in the Fort is not the best only one or two I would say are worth visiting. Food at Sugar and Spice was tasty and fresh, Thai Red curry was great and tasted very fresh. My partner she had the Thai green curry and was impressed as... More

If you like Thai then this is for you, unfortunately we didn't realise you had to bring your own drink so we went without. However the food was good if its your thing.

Lovely service and the coffee was great. It's a shame it's not central in the high street but if you want a cafe to stop at this is the one.

When I'm in the area I regularly pop in here to have a coffee. The coffee is really good and the service is friendly and informal. It's a lovely place to sit in and read the paper, have a snack and relax as it has a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend.
