We scoured Fort William in the afternoon looking for a likely spot for our evening meal. We would have passed Sugar & Spice by had we not nearly tripped over the sign telling you to bring your own bottle ..... truly a promising sign ( pun intended). Our motto is " When in doubt consult Trip Advisor". Excellent reviews and,... More

Thank you for your lovely review. We are really glad that you did stumble across us and enjoyed your meal. Our chef is from South Thailand, although after 4 years in Fort William is picking up a local twang and losing his suntan. Even if we did have slightly better weather here, he doesn't have much time to sunbath as... More

We had a lovely meal there. The service was excellent and the food freshly prepared. There is no licence and other people brought wine which would make this a very low-cost night out.

As two vegetarians, one of whom is gluten intolerant, eating out can be quite tricky, especially in the north of Scotland. Great choice for veggies, and as they are freshly prepared, can be made gluten free too. Very friendly staff and we would definitely eat here again.

Like a cafe with young local staff waiting tables and very friendly. Truly excellent freshly prepared food, the Thai green curry was best my wife has ever had and she is no novice! The menu is fairly limited but I think this is a positive, I don't want to read through 10 pages of stuff I never order. The restaurant... More

BYOB, good value, very tasty. Great authentic Thai starters and main courses, followed by a tasty chocolate dessert. Be warned: my dish was supposed to be medium spice but had quite a kick!

What a lovely restaurant to eat at. The food was amazing, best Thai food I have ever tasted in the UK. They don't serve alcohol but you can take your own. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Not a large menu to choose from but I believe that added to the quality of the food served. Prices were extremely reasonable.... More

Visited here after extensive trip advisor research and previous bad experiences in the local area. Wow! This was truly Thai food with heart and soul. We regularly eat at highly rated Thai restaurants in Leeds, our home town, and can honestly day this beat them. Small menu, which is the key to their success. Anyone looking for a break from... More

We live locally and wanted to try something new as a takeaway. Blown away by how authentic the Thai curries are (chef and co-owner is Thai so it really is the real deal). Nice blend of café by day and restaurant by night. Bring your own bottle makes it even more affordable! It's a must for anyone living in or... More

We were fairly restricted to eating within the High Street area of Fort William when we stayed up there. This was because we had no car with us and we were staying at the Travelodge, so in an effort to avoid an unpleasant dining experience I researched the nearby restaurants and eateries on Tripadvisor before we got there. (Although as... More

Fantasticly tasty, relaxed atmosphere, great value for money when it's unlicensed as you can take your own wine.
