Great food & great locally brewed beer available. Bench seating but not a problem if you don't mind discussing your day walking and sightseeing with strangers! Lovely views from the bottom of Ben Nevis. Thoroughly recommend for relaxed dining, perhaps not the place for toffs who want to lord it up :)

I think Fort William is terrible for eating out. Despite numerous trips to Fort William, we've recently discovered the Ben Nevis Inn and I agree it's the best on offer in Fort William. Nice staff, decent menu, good prices. Food was a bit hit and miss: generally pretty decent but disappointing chips and onion rings.

Absolutely brilliant restaurant. Polite staff, well situated and great food and portion sizes. The food was very good, the potions were more than adequate and very cheap

We lucked out with a last minute reservation for group of 19! Service was great with stunning views. We sat up on the loft on wooden benches with a picnic style long table in the middle. Chicken and haggis with mashed potatoes was the popular item among our group and we quickly ate it up. If you order fish and... More

This is a very typical Scottish pub--- which you Should make reservations before coming for dinner. The food is adequate but the atmosphere is great. You sit with other guests at long tables. We happened to be there on a Tuesday night which is the only night where 12 local musicians get together to play fantastic Scottish music. Place is... More

Ate here on Sunday night. Had a party of 12 and restaurant was very busy. Staff were very attentive. Had to wait a little for meal but was worth the wait and we could see they were busy. A few items unavailable but staff always had alternative recommendations. Would return again.

Great beer garden, just what we needed when reaching the bottom of Ben Nevis even though the weather prohibited us from going to the top and we just went up to the lake and back down!!!

Wonderful stone historic pub! We wandered in after a hike and found a perfect pub atmosphere and great food and beer. A must visit while in the area.
