Is it just me , or is there a real lack of decent places to eat and in Fort William ? This place won't suit everyone, it's got big long, shared bench seating, great to get chatting with your fellow diners though . Great food, great beer and a lovely relaxed atmosphere, just what the rest of Fort William lacks... More

I love this pub. Great food and it is all freshly prepared, lots of choice on the menu and I if you want something that is not on the menu they will try and accommodate you. Good selection of beers. Lovely open fire and staff are friendly. It is a big pub but has a cozy atmosphere and is child... More

Really quite out of the way of the town, but that's part of its charm. It is a dark lonely drive down about a mile of single track where the road suddenly stops and the Inn appears. Very cosy with a roasting hot stove and lots of wood and stone. The hall has very long tables and benches. Ideal for... More

We went here for a couple of pints and some dinner and were very impressed. The real ale was really good and the food was much better than I expected from an inn. The location is idyllic and traditional with a mix of walkers climbers and local folk. The staff were present and attentive. Do check when it's open though... More

After a winter day climb on Ben Nevis, we stopped at the Ben Nevis Inn for a few pints, chips, soup, and haggis. The place was very traditional and comfortable. Extremely clean. And the food was really good. A very nice way to end the day. Erik Lekberg Chicago, Illinois

Love going here for a meal and pint of beer after a long walk. The barn still retains its character and the atmosphere is really good on a busy night! Great choice of food and the staff are really friendly and efficient.

We stopped the night here in their Bunkhouse it was only £15 a night, it is basic but you got a clean bunk, pillow and a thin quilt. There are 2 showers and toilet's and sinks and its shared by everybody, male and female. It was a bit cold so we slept with cloths on. Unfortunately its directly under the... More

Had all the family here, so we had a table for nearly 20! But the service was great, even when we changed our order's, forgot what we ordered and wanted more of what we ordered!! The atmosphere was great and when some of the locals got out there guitars, it made for a great night. Also the drive up /... More

The staff were friendly, service good and food delicious. Defo worth a visit. If just for a drink, snack, full blown meal or a night out.

Have been here multiple times and will continue to go back. The location of the restaurant/pub is great (perfect if you are coming off the Ben, a little more off the beaten track if you are in town), and it's a lovely little building with stone walls and exposed beams. There is a decent selection of food and having tried... More
