Every time we go to Inverness one stop for a meal has to be Castle Street Restaurant! It's nostalgic with fast service, reasonable prices and we just love the Steak pie and chips!! Three generations of our family have been eating here and we just love it! They have way better milk shakes than McD's and where else can you... More

My wife and I and our traveling buddy ate here for lunch and we found the service to be great and really fast, the food good, and the price was very fair. We had liver and onions, Quiche and peas and steak pie. For dessert we did the lemon meringue pie with cream and a very tasty chocolate cake. Very... More

Got this place from the recommendation of a guesthouse's owner who said this was the choice of many local people including himself! So the food was not disappointing at all: quick & good taste, very comfy price! Staff were nice & lovely! If u are lucky, 2 tables looking out to the Castle for your view! I am glad that... More

I used to come here all the time as a nipper, and returning to Inverness i had to give it a go, i was not disappointed, the food was outstanding, the service second to none, and the price fantastic. everyone on a visit to this city should give this restaurant a go.

Again a super meal, it never changes and just love coming here and have done since I was a child. Excellent staff and never have to wait long for your food. Excellent value for money and would make this a must for a stop if you are in Inverness.

Nice quirky pub with plenty of character. As visitors to the area, recommended by landlady at our B&B and we were not disappointmentNice menu with good selection of reasonably price, home cooked meals (including haggis!). Appeared to be 'the in place' so arrive early or later to avoid disappointment for a table.

If you like your food swimming in grease, soggy frozen vegetables, and using cutlery and China looking like they have been bought from the local charity shop then look no further THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! Two toilet rolls later, and a little bit wiser I wished I had never set foot in this establishment.

Came here following recommendation from our B&B hosts. It was very busy and the service a little slow but the food was good.

I had my first taste of Cullen Skink here, it was fabulous! I had it 3 more times while in Scotland, I can't say any where better then here.

Yep, it does exactly what is says on the tin. No matter what changes in Inverness, you can always rely on the castle to have the same menu and a big vat of multi purpose gravy on standby. While it's not fine dining, it's good hearty food, guaranteed to fill you up and best of all, it's usually at your... More
