This place is handy as it's central and has a good pub food style menu. Service was friendly but we had to wait 45 minutes for our food which is way too long. I had the macaroni cheese which was lovely but the garlic bread on the side was burnt, the waitress took it away but failed to return with... More

I visited with some friends after a canoeing trip through the Great Glen. 3 of us had burgers and the others had the salmon and the haddock and prawns. The food arrived relatively quickly for how many people were in. Only two complaints about the food; the prawns were grainy and some of the cauliflower had been overcooked (the staff... More

Squeezed in a lunch after a horrendously long bus trip from Invergordon, and found this place close to the bus terminal. Menu offered enough of a selection for our tastes, so ventured in about 1 in the afternoon and found a great window seat. My pulled pork sandwich was outstanding, and as an Iowan I am fussy about pulled pork!!... More

I have been to the Room a couple of times on trips to Inverness. If you like loud live music this is the place to go at night. They usually have a live band playing at the weekend. The band that was on played a variety of different songs to cater for every age. The bar was packed and had... More

My drink (a pint of lager) was sour, I left it and walked out, and it was most expensive drink of the evening. The kitchen door was wedged open and you see the cooks microwaving the packed meals and plating them up, not a pleasant sight. We won’t be back.
