We haven't eaten here for a while, so it was great to see they have smartened the place up with new wallpaper and a lick of paint! We had Cajun chicken burger and cheese steak roll. Both good with nice portions and lovely chips. Missing the usual friendly blonde server who was there for years, hope she hasn't left she... More

We visited on Sunday for lunch very quiet, so service was not an issue. Good atmosphere for being so quite. Starters: I had Yorkshire pudding and haggis starter a little bit cold and the Yorkshire was more like an "aunt Bessie's" rather than homemade. My partner had wedges which were large and delicious. Mains: Very poor, I had the chicken... More

I'm sorry that we didn't have time to wait for the incredibly slow service, so didn't ever taste the food! Like the earlier contributor we waited almost 45 minutes and the food just wasn't forthcoming. What was most surprising was that we were the only people being served, so we weren't in a queue. Consequently average is the best we... More

This place is handy as it's central and has a good pub food style menu. Service was friendly but we had to wait 45 minutes for our food which is way too long. I had the macaroni cheese which was lovely but the garlic bread on the side was burnt, the waitress took it away but failed to return with... More

I visited with some friends after a canoeing trip through the Great Glen. 3 of us had burgers and the others had the salmon and the haddock and prawns. The food arrived relatively quickly for how many people were in. Only two complaints about the food; the prawns were grainy and some of the cauliflower had been overcooked (the staff... More
