Since it opened in 2002, Rocpool Restaurant ha become an effervescent Inverness brasserie with a loyal fan base. A cool contemporary decor with lots of bare wood and bold colours give a buzzy vibe to the restaurant which is situated in a prime site on the banks of the River Ness. The kitchen has a repotoire of eclectic modern dishes which use Scotland's matchless produce sprinkled with Mediterranean sunshine, plus a pinch of exotic spice here and there.

Me and my girlfriend went to Rocpool during a recent visit to inverness and Loch Ness. I didn't book as it was all a bit last minute, however they still found us a table and accommodated us (even if we were told that table was needed in an hour and a half, still gave us plenty of time. From then... More

Not excellent this time just very good and I'm a little disappointed ...... so much so it will longer be our automatic choice when visiting Inverness. Service not as attentive this visit and the menu exactly the same (?) as it was for our last visit. Still very good though ..... everybody should try it at least once.

Visited with friends and were fortunate to get a table. Saturday lunchtime in Inverness throws up that most good eateries in town are booked out. So whilst this was not our first choice it turned out be better than we could have hoped for. Menu is good and inventive and whilst limited that just means they know what they are... More

Great food & service only thing that spoiled our night was where our table was positioned - we were a table of 6 & right at the door where people came & bumped into us as busy spot. However, the manager took charge, apologised & made it bad situation much better with a genuine apology & no charge for our... More

On a business trip, I opted for the 2 course early evening menu, which was good value at £17.95. Food was tasty, well cooked and nicely presented. Service was fine too. A restaurant I'd definitely like to return to for a more leisurely meal with friends.
