We went here twice for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food is good traditional fare which is cooked well and served in decent sized portions. Service is friendly and fairly swift and is ideal for lunch. The price of the meals is very reasonable and I would recommend the restaurant.

Every time I visit my family in Inverness we go to Urquharts for a meal as the food is fantastic and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Every meal I have had has been lovely but the fishcakes and malteser cheesecake are my absolute favourites. Definitely a hidden gem in Inverness and worth a visit! If you go once... More

Yesterday I had dinner at the Urguhart's restaurant in Inverness. This is what I call solid, Scottish foods... For a starter, I had a chicken pate, which was very tasty and well balanced. Very delicate taste sensations. For the main course I had the Haggis. It came with mashed potatoes and mashed tunips. It was all delicious and hearty portions.... More

Easily one of the best eateries in Inverness. Having worked in Inverness for three years on business I have tried just about all the restaurants yet keep going back here. The range on the menu is stunning. The food delicious and the portions are generous. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The sweet menu is a joy especially the Maltezer... More

First time visit to the restaurant and it is certainly one of my favourite places to eat in Inverness. It's a cosy wee restaurant but spacious enough, it doesn't feel like you're sharing a meal with the table next to you (like many places). There's a quiet buzz in the place which contributes to the comfortable atmosphere but doesn't drown... More

For our last night in Inverness (26/08/2014), we decided to have dinner at Urquhart’s. Although, the starters were excellent (Stornoway Black Pudding and Broccoli and Stilton soup), we were flatly told that we could not share a main dish, in this case, a platter of Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. Now, to me, in Canada, a platter is definitely for sharing.... More

The restaurant is very cosy and warm, and the staff smiling and friedly. The food was relly excellent, we chose a hot goat cheese with salad, a salmon, and the soup of the day (mushrooms) and a medium-cooked fillet steak. Altough everything was fresh and really well cooked the service was a little bit slow (more than one hour and... More
