Had a super meal here with my boyfriend on our first night in Inverness. Didn't really have a clue where to be going, and actually wound up there as a result of a load of positive reviews form this website. Food was fantastic (we had the 'haggis, neeps and tatties' which was a really generous helping and covered in an... More

With so many tourists in Inverness, I would love them to find Urquharts. A small restaurant with a professional yet friendly atmosphere. Menu with great choice, food well presented and very tasty, portion size?..let's say man size so great value. This is the quality and value that I want Scotland to be known for.

Urquhart's delivers exactly what it promises - great, fresh, tasty , locally sourced meals in a warm and friendly environment. The restaurant is quite small, and when I visited on a Friday night, full so a reservation is a good idea. Visiting Scotland I naturally went for a haggis starter, served traditionally with neeps, tatties and as whiskey cream and... More

Fantastic food! We almost didn't go in because the front door didn't look so nice. But don't be fooled by the not-so-nice-looking entrance. The food is top rate and once you go up the stairs the restaurant has a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

We were recommended Urquhart's as a great family run restaurant . It lived up to it but beware... portions are huge . We couldn't finish the meal but it was delicious and a good atmosphere .make sure you book though .

We went here twice for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food is good traditional fare which is cooked well and served in decent sized portions. Service is friendly and fairly swift and is ideal for lunch. The price of the meals is very reasonable and I would recommend the restaurant.

Every time I visit my family in Inverness we go to Urquharts for a meal as the food is fantastic and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Every meal I have had has been lovely but the fishcakes and malteser cheesecake are my absolute favourites. Definitely a hidden gem in Inverness and worth a visit! If you go once... More

Yesterday I had dinner at the Urguhart's restaurant in Inverness. This is what I call solid, Scottish foods... For a starter, I had a chicken pate, which was very tasty and well balanced. Very delicate taste sensations. For the main course I had the Haggis. It came with mashed potatoes and mashed tunips. It was all delicious and hearty portions.... More
