Went here with a group of 8 friends while in Inverness on holiday. Food was very well presented and tasted delicious. Service was good. If i'm ever in Inverness again i will return.

We were on holiday in Inverness and wanted a nice meal. We had read the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a go. We had a lovely evening. The restaurant itself had a nice feel to it and had lovely background music playing which was non intrusive. As for the food, it was lovely. Well presented and... More

The service at this place is very good and professional. The food was to die for. The prices are very very reasonable. I truly recommend this restaurant. Booking is advisable and its fully booked quite often.

I live and work in Inverness and I have to admit that The Joy of Taste is my favourite place to eat out of them all. The food is always amazing, their red wine is delicious and the service is always superb. I have lost count now of the amount of times I have eaten here and would highly recommend... More

On the recommendation of our taxi driver went there with my wife and 2 friends Monday 1st Sept this was the start of a driving holiday around the highlands. The service was efficient and friendly, the food was out of this world, so good in fact we went again on the second night and were not disappointed.

We booked in person a couple of hours beforehand on a Sunday night as we were staying nearby. On arrival, they had put someone else on our table by mistake but offered us drinks whilst they sorted it out. This only took a few minutes, and from then on the service was good, if a little chaotic. But the food!... More

The premises appeared clean, food was delicious. Unfortunately, our server did not smile once during our entire visit and left us sitting with our bill for 10 minutes before taking payment. Surely getting the money is the most important part for a business! We may have been unlucky and service is usually much better. Even so, wouldn't recommend.

After a long walk on a dreary night which included many unsuccessful attempts at trying quite a few other recommended restaurants, we stumbled upon The Joy of Taste by pure chance! What a little gem. We were greeted by a friendly chap who sat us down straight away and made us feel very welcome. We ordered the venison and the... More

My partner and I visited The Joy of Taste in Inverness and our first thoughts were that it's was, friendly, relaxing and inviting. We were shown a table almost immediately by a very friendly gentleman. After being told by 5 or 6 other restaurants along the main strip they has no tables available we were just glad to be seated.... More
