We arrived without a reservation on a busy summer night. The staff went out of their way to seat us promptly. The Sea Bass was an award winner - wonderful presentation, generous portion, terrific taste. The restaurant is busy and crowded but the food is awesome. Go there.

Just been to this restaurant and would thoroughly recommend, doesn't look like much from the outside so don't let they put you of, great flavours and value for money portion sizes large, a bit too much on the plate for us, the menu size and choices are just right and the staff are well versed to assist with you choice... Well this is a decent for someone and without a doubt, even if you're really picky then there is something for everyone whether its a fish dish, meat or even as well salad, there is something for everyone. We came in and ordered two starters, three main courses and also two desserts. Apart that they use oven chips, there's nothing... More

This restaurant in Church Street is a great place to eat with friendly service. They use local produce where possible and have a varied menu that should please most tastes. It is reasonably priced and well worth a visit.

Really good food for a nice price. The venison was very good. Book a table in advance as the restaurant is very popular !

Walked in late on a Thursday evening. Ordered two appetizers and one main course. Everything was excellent. Scallops were exceptional, wonderful salmon terrine, and perfectly cooked venison, accompanied by excellent Hartmann champagne from Reims. Service was quite good, wish we had gone back instead of trying a different restaurant the next night.

The welcoming atmosphere of this cafe and restaurant is given by the fact that is run by volunteers, their passion shines through the whole place and you will leave with a smile on your face. Spotlessly clean, good coffee (I don't drink tea) and voluptuous cakes or a good selection of hearty meals will cheer up your visit to the... More

We had a great meal here and most of all the staff were very accommodating! Obe even went out and bought our 2yo some special winnie the pooh cutlery. Even thr chunky chips were great and I'm not normally a huge fan. Well done guys.

Food was average quality, but overpriced. The waitress was horribly rude the few times we were able to get her attention. I would not recommend, even if price is not an issue, as there are much better options within the area.

We dined here late in the evening near to the last serving. Our waiter was so pleasant and a delight to talk with. Our appetizer to start with was Pan Seared King Scallops on a Cauliflower Puree with Cumin Sauce. It sounded so good to one other in the party that she asked the waiter if the chef would be... More
