The restaurant has changed hands and there will be a revamp and possibly a change of name. The only off-putting thing to me were the large windows looking straight... read more

Located right downtown, we found this place by accident when looking for a late lunch. It wasn't much to look at from the street but most places were closed to prepare for dinner so we had limited options. Although they too were just about to close, they found a place for us and served up an excellent lunch. We didn't... More

My friend and I had lunch here last week and had forgotten how good it is.Johnnie the day manager made us feel so welcome(although the waitress had said to us that our table was for 5 and didn't want us to sit there). The macaroni cheese and home made chips couldn't be faulted. Other friends were there at the same time... More

Quality, highly recommended! Visited at 8.30 on a Friday and found the staff really welcoming but the food was perfect and very reasonably priced. This restaurants is a type of co-op with the front of house staff volunteering and sharing in the profits at the end of the year so worthy of support too!

We used to come here fairly regularly but had not been for some time. It was a saturday evening and we were looking for somewhere to eat. We walked passed the Joy of Taste and decided that we would try there again. To start, I had Twice baked Isle of Mull cheddar soufflé and Mr CWN had Seared scallops with... More

This was our first visit and we couldn't fault it. Both my partner and I ordered 3 courses and there was not a scrap left on any of our plates. The roast pigeon with wild mushroom crostini and pickled mushrooms in particular was possibly the most delicious starter I have ever eaten. The staff were friendly and attentive and the... More
