The best jacket potato ever!

We stumbled across this cafe when we were a bit lost, irritated (road works and the drizzley rain) and hungry. I ordered a tuna and mayo filled jacket potato and we both had a slab of malteser cake. WOW! The potato was the most melt in the mouth, fluffiest dream of a baked potato I have ever had... read more

OK, so I know it's a sort of social enterprise to train young people in employable skills and that is admirable. Hitherto I have always found it a pleasant place to have a light lunch while in between trains, planes and automobiles situated as it is adjacent to the bus and railway stations. No more, I fear. The food has always... More

I have walked past Artysans many times on my way to work and was impressed from the outside but didn't venture inside until yesterday. Everything about Artysans is impressive. Nice furniture, nice decor, nice atmosphere, clean, comfortable etc. We opted for the tea/coffee and cake for £3.50. Huge pot of tea with a really cool tea leaf container that sits... More

I am never disappointed meeting friends here for lunch or coffee, tuna and red onion filled hoggie was lovely, as are the cakes with a lovely hot pot of tea. Staff are always polite.

Had a great coffee and bacon roll for only £3.50. Pleasant ambiance and good service. They give disadvantaged youngsters a training to help them find future employment. Nice menu with soups, sandwiches and paninis and so much more.

Excellent freshly made smoked salmon sandwich near the station in Inverness. Biodegradable takeaway cups for going to a bus or train. Pulled pork with coleslaw was also highly recommended. Plenty of space for backpacks on our way from the Highlands.

We recently visited here whilst on a weekend trip to Inverness. The food was amazing, service was brilliant. Staff all looked immaculate and very professional. Was very impressed, especially as many cafes struggle to cater for people with dietary requirements; Cafe Artysans managed to do this with ease. We will be back in the future.

One or two of the reviews below have mentioned that the service was a little slow - it was, but this is a social enterprise as well as a great coffee and food shop and most of the staff are young people who are learning work skills, so I think the mildly slow pace can be excused, and the place...
