Popped in after getting off the sleeper train, tired and hungry. Cafe was immaculate, so clean and tidy, loos were v clean too. We had bacon rolls and coffee and they were really tasty and cooked to our exact requirements! Staff were very chatty, friendly and helpful, letting us charge our phones there too. Great little cafe, thanks :)

Went here for lunch and had such a brilliant, tasty meal! The roasted vegetable hoagie was still warm which made it even tastier. The onion marmalade was exceptional and the salad was crisp & fresh too. Add to that some coleslaw and crisps and I have to say it was one of the tastiest lunches I have ever had. Very... More

Great place for coffee and light lunch! It's a charitably-run cafe that achieves top standards of cleanliness, good service and good food. Scones to die for and very good soup with generous supplies of bread. Very convenient to the shopping streets, bus station and train station.

We have visited this cafe on many occasions and it never fails. Whether it is a coffee and cake, or a light lunch, the quality of the food is very good. We were impressed also by the young man who was extremely chatty when paying the bill; it showed that he was trying hard to give good customer care. When... More

Called in on spec for a bit of lunch. Just wanted soup, sandwiches and cake. I had the soup and sandwiches combination. Really big bowl of hot, spicy and very tasty soup plus a good serving of sandwiches. I didn't know until we were having our lunch that we found out that the cafe is a project rum by the... More

Went for lunch when in Inverness and I was really impressed. Very good service with excellent food (the baked tattie was great!). Coffee (Fairtrade certified) is roasted on site (from green bean) which was very good to see. I bought a bag of El Salvador beans. Bright surroundings, nice atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff. I would happily go there again and... More

Just back from a few days in Inverness. I visited Cafe Artysans for lunch and have to say it has a lovely relaxed feel. The food was fresh and delicious - I had the feta and garlic mushroom salad - and was very reasonably priced. 5 out of 5 for me - keep up the good work!

Our order for lunch was taken by a young guy who came across as a little inept. Three times he came back to check, and to be truthful, we were getting to the eyes thrown up mode. Whilst waiting for our drinks, we read the card on the table which explained: " Artysans is part of the wider Calman service... More
