Simple, but effective

An unlikely find on our first day in Inverness, Kool Runnings serves tasty Carribean treats, nothing fancy but plenty of good flavours. It's got a kind of cafe/restaurant atmosphere so popping in any time of the day would feel relaxed, also helped by the friendly staff. All the classics on the menu... read more

Great food, Terrific owner, and a varied menu. Lovely portions. The place isnt the most, wel, attractive, ambience-wise, but dont let that fool you. Food is absolutely delicious and Bob Marley's music is a big free top-off. Enjoy!

Had a fabulous meal in this great little find in Inverness , food absolutely delicious and the portion sizes more than generous. We had a jug of the rum punch could have drunk another jug but would have had difficulty in doing this review . Can't recommend this resturant enough in fact going back a second time before we leave... More

The restaurant serves tasty, authentic food in a relaxed, fun Jamacan environment. A real benefit for Inverness. The service, though, was poor. The restaurant wasn't busy when we were in (Saturday afternoon) but the waiter seemed disinterested and was unsmiling throughout - he barely said anything to us. It's a small place but there was no welcome and he didn't... More

The place looks a little dodgey, but the food is excellent and the staff very friendly. I'd love to go again.

this was my kids' favorite place - we ate in once and did take-away another night. Yummy food. Jerk chicken was great!

We visited this small almost out of the way restaurant (but almost opposite the Mercure Hotel) in Inverness today. It was for my grandsons 18th birthday and somewhere he chose. It is small but really plenty of seats. There are a few tables outside. We had booked and arrived at noon when indeed it was quiet. It has a substantial... More

Good food. Informal atmosphere. Relaxed host too!! The food is very authentic and slightly different to what you might otherwise chose. Would recommend a visit.

We booked for a dinner last night as the food is amazing and we're not often in Inverness. We were greeted by the owner and shown to our seats. There were 2 waiters clearing tables but paid no attention to us. Even with catching their eye they walked off, got cutlery etc and acted like we are invisible! Eventually we... More
