Just had a really good meal at the Waterfront, Inverness. Friendly prompt service; tender steak and pork dishes with delicious sauces to accompany; all washed down with a Tomatin malt and a measure of Scots trad songsters ...a guid sound and great welcome to Inverness!

Service was excellent and the quality and presentation of our meals was brilliant. Very comfortable dining and a good bar.

It was only after we visited this pub twice during our stay that we were told by our B&B that it was in "the dodgy end of town". We did not see that at all! The Waterfront is a great little pub with delicious food! The waiter was really helpful in helping me choose a scotch that I might like.

Made the mistake of trying something other than a hamburger. Homemade pate tasted like store bought; shrimp salad was grocery store level. Only good dish was mussels. Beer options are limited. Go with a typical pub food if you go.

My family & I enjoyed a great evening once again at this lovely place right next to the River Ness.. The food is always reliably very good & excellent value, the staff polite & attentive also we enjoyed great live music from Schiehallion. Easy to park for free & very central .A really great traditional venue, thank you.

Having seen the reviews when on holiday in Inverness, we decided to give this a try. The menu is more adventurous than the cooking, but the prices reflect that. My daughter had the Highland Mixed Grill which she said was very good, I had the Pheasant Breast Wrapped in Parma Ham which was ok, the sauce was a little glutinous,... More

The menu was 5 star quality food. Yes, there was bar food but there was also dishes like what I had...Shetland Salmon. One of the others in the party chose Fish and Chips which she said tasted great. She likes cocktail sauce with her fish and since they don't offer such, the waitress brought her horseradish and red sauce to... More

Went in for sunday lunch and ordered roast beef, the food was served twenty minutes later piecemeal. It was an oval plate with two small slices of meat, three very small roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and gravy which filled the plate. The very average veg came separately. If it tasted good that would be fine, however, the gravy was clearly... More

This is a nice local restaurant in the city center in Inverness. It was close to my hotel. It has good seafood options and a good whiskey selection. My waitress was excellent. She was very courteous and prompt. The food prices were reasonable. This restaurant is definitely worth checking out.
