A friend and I ate there the other day in the afternoon. It's a clean restaurant, but business was really slow...and on a Saturday, so that probably speaks volumes for the food. It is overpriced, however, but not terribly so. Management / service seems to be amiss with some of the staff sadly. It was one of those situations where... More

Stopped for an afternoon drink after shopping with hubby. I ordered white wine which was quite expensive per glass and was not totally chilled. Member of staff was no way friendly, just doing his job! The table we sat at was clean, went to the toilet and had to more or less lift my legs off the floor, my feet... More

Good pub food and friendly staff, but we were sitting in a rather cold and drafty spot and the entrance door is extremely noisy (although we sat on the far end of the room).

We decided to try this place as it was quite busy for a Sunday afternoon. We sat in a booth, which was as cold as sitting in the garden shed.! Both meals were tasty and good value, if a little cold, but I put this down to the food being carried through a cold bar from the kitchen. Nice obliging... More

This is the worst pub I have ever visited in the UK. The pub landlady made me wait 30 minutes before I could use their toilet, even though they were officially open and then they served me nearly 45 minutes after opening time.. The barman was distant and rude; he told me I need to see a counsellor. After one... More

Visited here on 30th December 2013, From the moment we walked in it was terrible. We waited and waited and waited to be served, the waitress/bar-person clearly saw us and ignored us, she decided to serve two locals ( I'm guessing they were locals) before us. When we did eventually get served, she was the rudest and unfriendliest bar member... More
