THE CLACHNAHARRY INN is a great 'craic' pub with emphasis on being friendly. There is always something going on. The 'Clach' is an institution within the local area and serves 4 ales and 1 cider alongside other draught beers, lagers and ciders. We are an informal pub that delivers highland hospitality and great food, and what's better is that we love what we do! We are also a dog friendly pub! Pooches are welcome in our bar and beer garden while our restaurant and lounge bar are dog free - they even have their own biscuit barrel and water bowls! We also have a Take-Away Menu available 7 days a week. Simply pop in and have a drink while you wait for your freshly cooked meal, or phone us in advance and pick it up on your way past!

Cracking little pub. The bar has an open fire, which is very welcoming on a winters day,and a good atmosphere with a mix of locals and visitors. There is also a cosy dining room and the food is wholesome and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

We decided to visit after reading a review in our regional newspaper. We pre booked as was recommend in the review and also on the Inn's website, we were glad we did as the restaurant is a bit on the small side and there were six of us in the group. The lounge/dining room was small but warm and well... More

Firstly I must admit that I'm a regular to this establishment. However I can't praise the service and atmosphere highly enough. I'm always welcomed in with a hello and a smile. The food isn't the cheapest but you do get a proper portion. If you are a fan of pub quizzes then Wednesday night is the best to visit.

Went here while in Inverness as the bar is dog friendly (nb whilst I don't think all places should be dog friendly I was glad to see that this place made it clear it was and had a clear policy, other hostelries take note) and was pleasantly surprised at just how god it was. The bar was very nice and... More

After reading some of the reviews I thought I'd post my views on the last and final time I visited. I have been in here once or twice in the last couple of years for food and have left pretty much underwhelmed on each occassion. The last time and straw that broke the camels back was when i ordered some... More

What a delight thus is - the staff are both friendly and welcoming, there is a roaring log fire in winter, and it has a real "pub" atmosphere in the best way. A varied menu and the food is good, with a wide selection of ales and wines and a fine draught cider - the brand escapes me!!

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I think the brand of draught cider you are thinking of will be Thistly Cross, a lovely sweet Scottish cider. It is one of two draught ciders we have, the other being Strongbow. I am glad that you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you at The Clach again... More

I visited the inn on 29 October 2014. It was a pleasant experience. I walked from the town center and it took just under 40 minutes. The inn is dog friendly and full of locals; I think it is possible I was the only one from out of town. Then menu and beverage selection was fine. The atmosphere of the... More
