THE CLACHNAHARRY INN is a great 'craic' pub with emphasis on being friendly. There is always something going on. The 'Clach' is an institution within the local area and serves 4 ales and 1 cider alongside other draught beers, lagers and ciders. We are an informal pub that delivers highland hospitality and great food, and what's better is that we love what we do! We are also a dog friendly pub! Pooches are welcome in our bar and beer garden while our restaurant and lounge bar are dog free - they even have their own biscuit barrel and water bowls! We also have a Take-Away Menu available 7 days a week. Simply pop in and have a drink while you wait for your freshly cooked meal, or phone us in advance and pick it up on your way past!

Lovely Sunday Carvery

My husband and I visited this pub with our dog for a Sunday carvery on our way back from Cromarty. We had a lovely roast beef dinner and the staff and locals were so friendly, they made so much fuss of our German Shepherd and giving her treats. I would definitely recommend stopping here for a meal... read more

Recently ate here twice with the dog. Very friendly and polite staff, super super food, reasonably priced. Ate in the bar, staff and locals so friendly, greatly recommend it.

There is a long story on how we happened to find this quaint little watering hole, but all I am going to say is,please dont pass it by,park your car & go inside then you will know why,the welcome was warm,& the food was excellent in the cosy restaurant overlooking the Firth. I shall say no more, but thank you to... More

We actually stopped into this pub after searching for a winery that did not exist anymore but all 3 of our GPS's told us otherwise! This is a vintage pub, apparently dog friendly and we had a very satisfying lunch here. We ordered a cheeseboard for our appetizer (in Scotland this is considered dessert but us Americans think otherwise!) The... More

We saw this place from the street and though it was a tiny pub. Upon further look we found there was actually a lovely little restaurant in the back, very well hidden. The food and service were very good. I had the breaded pork and my husband had the fish and chips. Definitely happy we didn't try to go further... More

Lovely relaxed atmosphere set off by the nice decor. The barmaid/waitress was lovely, she was very friendly and full of fun. I had smoked salmon and prawns and my husband had fish and chips. Both very tasty and reasonably priced. Would most definitely come back. What topped it all off they sold my favourite beer on draft Erdinger.

We have been a few times in recent weeks, the last one being for the Sunday Carvery last weekend. All four of us had the Roast Beef and it was lovely. The Yorkshire puddings were a treat and the range of vegetables available is more than ample. The price is pretty good too.

I've only eaten here a couple of times - and on both occasions very happy with my meal - but I mostly visit for a drink with friends or for the quiz night on Wednesdays, which is excellent fun. The Clach always have a great selection of local ales (on several occasions recognised by CAMRA as pub of the year),... More

Visited for lunch returning home from Portree. We have stopped here before an been very happy with the food produced. This time we were disappointed. Both had the steak and ale pie. The filling was hit and miss as far as the steak was concerned, some nice and tender, other bits like eating leather. The gravy was watery and the... More
