THE CLACHNAHARRY INN is a great 'craic' pub with emphasis on being friendly. There is always something going on. The 'Clach' is an institution within the local area and serves 4 ales and 1 cider alongside other draught beers, lagers and ciders. We are an informal pub that delivers highland hospitality and great food, and what's better is that we love what we do! We are also a dog friendly pub! Pooches are welcome in our bar and beer garden while our restaurant and lounge bar are dog free - they even have their own biscuit barrel and water bowls! We also have a Take-Away Menu available 7 days a week. Simply pop in and have a drink while you wait for your freshly cooked meal, or phone us in advance and pick it up on your way past!

Cosy and comfortable, above all, DOG FRIENDLY!

This is a really old Inn with a modern twist : trying for gourmet pub and not quite bringing it off (heavy on the potatoes, tho the chips were excellent). But the best things about this place were the fire, the service and the welcome they extend to dogs.

The portions at the clachnaharry are very generous so make sure you're hungry. We found the feel of then place to be very cosy and we're sure if it were daylight when visiting we'd have had a lovely view out of the window. A lovely evening, thank you!

Just had lunch, lasagne and a side of chips. One word to describe (delicious) and all home made chips, lasagne and coleslaw on the salad. Service was excellent by Paul, we are very unlikely to go again as touring Scotland but I would definatly recommend a visit if your there

My partner and I have just returned from here after my first visit to The Clachnaharry Inn. On first impressions it looks like a quaint wee pub with good locals and a good selection of drink. I stated we were there to dine and was escorted through to an unexpectedly large dining area. The restaurant area is perfectly charming and... More

You will certainly visit the Clachnaharry Inn again and again! Fabulous menu and a cosy, relaxed atmosphere. The service is excellent and our little well behaved dog is made to feel as welcome as we are.

We found ourselves in Inverness for the day with no car, and a large dog. All we wanted was somewhere warm and dry with reasonable food...we got so much more! Our large deerhound was greeted with real enthusiasm, the pub was warm and cosy with an open fire and a great selection of real ale. Food was clearly freshly cooked... More

We are staying in Inverness and took a lovely walk to this pub to have lunch with our dogs as it's too cold to sit outside anywhere and not enough pubs accept dogs. The bar is nice and had a roaring coal fire. Food was really nice and my husband was happy as they had draught Thistly Cross Cider which... More

Cracking little pub. The bar has an open fire, which is very welcoming on a winters day,and a good atmosphere with a mix of locals and visitors. There is also a cosy dining room and the food is wholesome and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

We decided to visit after reading a review in our regional newspaper. We pre booked as was recommend in the review and also on the Inn's website, we were glad we did as the restaurant is a bit on the small side and there were six of us in the group. The lounge/dining room was small but warm and well... More
