THE CLACHNAHARRY INN is a great 'craic' pub with emphasis on being friendly. There is always something going on. The 'Clach' is an institution within the local area and serves 4 ales and 1 cider alongside other draught beers, lagers and ciders. We are an informal pub that delivers highland hospitality and great food, and what's better is that we love what we do! We are also a dog friendly pub! Pooches are welcome in our bar and beer garden while our restaurant and lounge bar are dog free - they even have their own biscuit barrel and water bowls! We also have a Take-Away Menu available 7 days a week. Simply pop in and have a drink while you wait for your freshly cooked meal, or phone us in advance and pick it up on your way past!

Great place to go with a dog

Brilliant so accommodating with our golden retriever - delicious food and they gave Breagh a bowl of water and some biscuits too - highly recommend!

I've only eaten here a couple of times - and on both occasions very happy with my meal - but I mostly visit for a drink with friends or for the quiz night on Wednesdays, which is excellent fun. The Clach always have a great selection of local ales (on several occasions recognised by CAMRA as pub of the year),... More

Visited for lunch returning home from Portree. We have stopped here before an been very happy with the food produced. This time we were disappointed. Both had the steak and ale pie. The filling was hit and miss as far as the steak was concerned, some nice and tender, other bits like eating leather. The gravy was watery and the... More

We were visiting the area on holiday and found this pub in the good beer guide. Great place and clearly very popular with locals which is a good sign. A friendly pub, warm fire and dogs welcome in the bar area. However if you want a good restaurant (without dogs) and great food they also have this in the back... More

Having enjoyed a previous visit here and having the dog with us it was a natural stop off on our way home from the west coast. We were not disappointed. The staff were extremely welcoming and the customers all very friendly. The food and the beer was again excellent, pub food, but excellent pub food and the service from the... More

Great place for pint and snack, lovely, cosy pub near to Caledonian Canal, and walking / cycling paths. Friendly staff and great food... (OMG you need to try their nacho's!!! love it! ) On top of that it's one of few places in Inverness that are DOG FRIENDLY. And it's def the best one!

The portions at the clachnaharry are very generous so make sure you're hungry. We found the feel of then place to be very cosy and we're sure if it were daylight when visiting we'd have had a lovely view out of the window. A lovely evening, thank you!

This is a really old Inn with a modern twist : trying for gourmet pub and not quite bringing it off (heavy on the potatoes, tho the chips were excellent). But the best things about this place were the fire, the service and the welcome they extend to dogs.
