Best Indian in Scotland

Love this place so much, been here more times than i can remember. Food if amazing, everything i have ever had has been so tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location isnt great and parking can be tricky but this by no means should put you off, its so worth it.

I have been a customer for about 16 years, and in that time we have never had any real problems with a bad meal. But tonight it was the worst thing I have ever eaten. We stated when we ordered our chicken Muglai that its not been the same this passed couple of months, we always have the same thing... More

Someone at my hotel raved about this place so I gave it a go while in town for an overnight on business - what I had was a bit disappointing to be honest, though there were hints that perhaps it's usually better than that. Chicken biryani looked great when it came - and came with a really interesting looking side... More

Ate here on the 11th of February. Very pleasant and quick service. The starters were excellent, the main also good. I had king prawn jalfrezi, which was a bit on the hot side for a jalfrezi, but couldn't complain. It was a wee bit on the expensive side, but would still return.

Had dinner here during the week. Strange menu front cover that specified a minimum spend per person of £12.95 - this raised my hackles immediately. Not a user-friendly opening! I had the prawn on puri starter labelled as "fairly spicy" but turned out to be anything but - it was bland and tasteless, with little or no spice. My chicken... More

Ate here on Sunday the 8th of February 2015 in a party of 4. I have had this kind of Curry 100's of times before in and around London and nothing made it stand out apart from the price - Jalfrezi at £10.95??? you need to be doing something amazing to be charging this much, or, be the monopoly in... I've eaten a lot of curry's in my time, from takeaway to chain restaurants to independents. We had poppadoms, mains and sides. All homemade, even the pickle tray items! The hot dishes were boiling hot and served on a heated plate. Everything was delicious, deliciously spiced, balanced and not just swimming in chillies to mask bland flavours. The service was... Excellent meal mixed starter was a nice taster and cracking main course unfortunately no room for dessert. The staff were on the ball and very friendly mannerly staff
