The Rajah is definitely my favourite indian restaurant for takeaways. Food is always full of flavour and much nicer than any other in inverness. Sat in for a meal a few months ago, felt a bit rushed but food was still lovely! Would recommend!

Like many people I love Indian food and as a result have eaten at lots of different Indian restaurants. When compared to all of those previous experiences it was better than some, and worse than others. The food was ok not brilliant. The portion size was good. The service was average. I had to ask for the bill twice and... More

Food was good and they made our curries vegan which was very accommodating. Prices are okay, £10 min spend per person. We spent £25 on two curries, naan, rice and two drinks. A good place if your looking for a quick, filling meal out

This is your typical Indian restaurant, perfectly ok food but nothing special. Efficient service, reasonable prices, always busy. I've visited this restaurant for many years and would say the food quality is not to the standard it was in the past.

It has been a while since I ate here and it was always my favourite Indian in Inverness, but I'm sad to say that I feel that the standards have slipped. The staff remain friendly and helpful but our main courses were a bit of a let down, 2/3 were very bitter and tasted of vinegar, on the whole I... More

This place was recommended to me. Situated in the bizarrely named Post Office Avenue, it's no more than a lane. The downstairs restaurant is decorated with patterned wood & beams, plus paintings from Asian culture. Popular even at lunchtimes, where a filling 2 course special is offered. I'm not surprised it's been in business since 1982.

We had a group of about 16, and they did well to serve everything at the same time for each course. Staff were very attentive, couldn't complain. Only downside, and it's down to personal taste, was that for me the main course I had wasn't as good as I thought and was a bit strong on food colouring. Think it... More

We looked for an indian restaurant and did not like to eat at a take-away. Already at the entrance we got a strange feeling. The restaurant is in the basement and five people grabbed after our jackets and bags before even saying hello. Before we got the chance to have a look on the menu the waitress decided which starter... More

We had a meal here with our daughter. The food was good and quality of ingredients good. Every dish seemed hotter than those we are used to at home. We had two dishes two rice and a couple of sides between us. We ended up having it wrapped as a take out for my daughter to take back to her... More
