First visit to Inverness and found this lovely restaurant along the river from our hotel. The food and staff were lovely and the atmosphere charming. Only down side is the tables were a little small for the plates with a drink, but that's a minor complaint for an otherwise perfect meal.

Great scallops and venison, friendly and helpful service. Only 26 covers. The works outside seem to be nearing completion and the outlook from the bay window is charming.

Warmly welcomed late on a dreich afternoon then treated to an outstanding high tea of toast, main dish then tea or coffee, fresh scones, shortbread, cakes and tablet. Our choices of haddock and scampi with chips and salad were generous and well presented. Outstanding value at under £24 for the entire meals.

I went for a meal here a group of friends from work. I'm vegan and phoned ahead in advance to see what could be offered, and had plenty of options which is really good to see. The starter was fried mushrooms on toast, the main was butternut squash and chickpea curry and the desert was poached pears with raspberry sorbet.... More

Found the restaurant while strolling along the river. A popular for local people with music the night we were there. Orders were received quickly and were piping hot! We would definitely go back!

We went there last Friday on friends occasion to celebrate our first night in Inverness. Restaurant has a quiet ambiance. We were quickly served and everything we had were quite satisfying. For main we had chicken brisket, seafood pasta and salmon as main dish. However, scallops in the starter menu are amazing as well. A pleasant dining experience indeed.
