Great location overlooking River Ness

We enjoyed a very good meal and the staff were excellent. We sat in the window and had a lovely view of the River. I would suggest you reserve this if possible. You do need to book. The service and food was great. Wine was great. We had mussels in a white wine sauce. The Sea Bass and Sirloin was wonderful. Really nice night.

We ate at this lovely restaurant our first night in Inverness. The food was good, and the service was OK. It just didn't stand out.

We enjoyed a nice meal at The Riverside Restaurant, however the food was not quite as well executed as other meals we enjoyed in Inverness for the same price.

Managed to get a table for lunch on a busy summer Saturday. For reference, most restaurants in the town seem to be fully booked for both lunch and dinner on this weekend in August. The Riverside is a small restaurant in the centre of the town with views overlooking the river. The welcome from the staff was friendly, the setting... More

We stopped off at the riverside for lunch and enjoyed a lovely meal. I had moules mouclade with some scrummy homemade apricot bread. I wasnt sure if it was going to be the best accompaniment but it went together really well. My daughter had fish and cips that recieved a big thumbs up and the puddings were delicious, sticky toffee... More

Recommended by someone and we were not disappointed. Small place but very accommodating. Staff very pleasant and helpful with menu selections. Good menu selections and well prepared food. The chef was a bit more daring than most places and that was good - not the usual Scottish fare which is often uninspiring. Reservations strongly recommended here as in most restaurants... More

Not having booked we were offered a table at 6.45 which was earlier than we wanted but the restaurant was full as were many others. I had the scallops to start which were exquisite followed by a steak accompanied by the best mushrooms ever. My partner opted for crab cakes followed by hake on a bed of cockles, mussels and...
