My daughter and I went for lunch, the food was fine but the service was poor. Very unfriendly! Not at all interested in making their customers feel comfortable. The drinks order was wrong, staff were unhappy. Won't be visiting again.

This was my 3rd trip to Ash. We were welcomed by a really friendly young man, given a table which was clean even though the restaurant was very busy. Waited a while for our order to be taken but that was fine considering how busy they were.......the food is very well presented and nice to eat although I do think... More

Very central with attractive decor, this should be a good bet. Service was attentive & friendly and the menu was varied with excellent value. So why only 3 out of 5? Something small lacking in the food which I can't quite pinpoint. It just didn't have that quality which makes you want to come back. A pity, because everything else... More

for this "fancy" restaurant. Nice diverse selection--my lamb curry was quite good. Service was strange-- we were served by a variety of people, our waitress would come and go. Had to request water-fill ups, drinks, etc. But very congenial once we did :) Wanted to love this restaurant, but unfortunately, there was nothing remarkable about it. A shame for such... More

I visited Ash one miserable Scottish day in order to be cheered up. We had originally wanted to try the American place just up the road, but the queue for tables had put us off. Due to being hungry we plumped for Ash as it was the nearest place! BIG MISTAKE! I failed to check the reviews before taking our... More

I have visited most restaurants in Inverness over the past 3 years as I visit regularly on business. Ash is undoubtedly the worst of them all, and I will not return. The staff are rude, arrogant, disinterested and do not understand the basics of customer service. Food is also very poor quality. The owners and management must resolve the staff... More

Was very angry and upset to see once again this restaurant does not want people with disabilities in there premises. I booked a table over the phone for five people I made it clear that one of the ladies who has MS was in a wheelchair. When I arrived it was to see the table they had reserved was in... More

This is my first ever online restaurant review. But I felt obligated to note that, having eaten at restaurants at all price levels across Europe and the U.S., my experience at Ash was among the worst of my life. The servers and (as best I could tell) kitchen staff, were lazy, rude, and incompetent. I visited the restaurant with my... More
