Drinks only

Had drinks only here. The location is fantastic, right on the shore of Loch Ness. There are numerous seats and benches outside plus a bar (clearly they know how good the view is). Some of the benches are on the large beach which is worth a stroll. Plus Nessie Hunter is in the car park.

Ate here a couple of weeks ago whilst staying in Errogie. Had lunch one day and made a booking for dinner the following day as we liked it so much. Food was great, service was spot on - but you need to book! Quite pricey but worth it.

What can I say.. gorgeous food, friendly staff and best of all step outside the back and you are in another world.. a beach and the most beautiful view you could ever wish for..possibly one of the most beautiful views ( and I didn't even have alcohol in me) in Scotland. Also for the kiddies, a playground and football pitch... More

We were recommended to visit this place by the owners of the b&b we stayed at in Inverness, though we were warned we may not get a table as they get very busy. It was well worth the risk and the drive (only 10 minutes from Inverness). The Dores Inn is on the shores of Loch Ness. Another bonus is... More

This is a regular haunt of ours and it continues to impress with inventive food, excellent service and brilliant real ale served at the right temperature. We turned up mid-afternoon on a Monday holiday and they squeezed us in with no fuss; very welcoming and accommodating managers and staff, nothing too much trouble..........and all so polite! I had extremely tasty... More

We stayed in Inverness and we already knew we had to book, so we did. As a bonus, we were picked up by the owner in his car, because the Inn's shuttle bus was going in the other direction. After a small wait in the bar and a bottle of Champagne (kindly ordered earlier by telefon by my boss) our... More

Enjoyed by locals and tourists. We were lucky to get a seat for dinner in the pub as we had forgotten to make reservations. Pub grub or more upmarket dishes available. Jeans are appropriate in this great old building.

Loved this place. It gets very busy so really need to book in advance. They offered a free shuttle service from our b+b 1 mile away (Balachladaich B+B) We had the haggis for starter and then fresh sea trout from the special board and both were amazing! All washed down with a bottle of prosecco. Dessert for us was a... More
