This place looks beautiful from the outside!! The food and atmosphere on the inside match it. Ample room outside to sit and there's even a beach too!

We meet friends here a couple of times a year. They're from south and we're more local. Had a lovely lunch today. Tasty fish and minute steaks. Generous well prepared helpings. Helpful welcoming staff. We were there for about 3.5 hours. After our promptly served meal we sat chatting and there was no pressure to leave or order anything else.... More

We stopped off at Dores as an alternative to taking the highway. There is a great little pub which has great coffee and superb deserts. You can sit out the back on the banks of Loch Ness amongst a sea of ducks and even visit a little makeshift caravan manned by a genuine Nessie enthusiast. Cute stop off!

We were recommended this place by people all over Scotland. It was not quite as good as our high expectations, but still very good. We had the special. No view and the weather was poor. Still a good stop though. We did buy a Loch Ness monster rock from the caravan across the way too.

We had been recommended to go by a barman in Edinburgh. Spent a full day travelling around the Loch so was very much looking forward to a lovely meal. Sadly the menu was very much aimed for tourists (burgers, macaroni and cheese...) The pub is located on one of the most picturesque of places but the restaurant had no windows... More

As I said, it was so good we ate there two twice during a 3 day visit to Inverness. Cute little pub, excellent and friendly staff, and next to a small beach for a post dinner walk. Oh, and the food is GREAT. One of the best steaks I've ever had.

I absolutely loved it! The food is very good! It does get a bit busy, but i guess that's what you get in such a pretty location. I do not recommend it, I want to keep it for myself 😜
