Great food and a pretty spot especially on a sunny day with the beer garden. Parking is tight so get there early. Friendly staff, good with babies and children.

This pub seems to be only one around, therefore it gets very busy and would recommend booking a table in advance if you want to eat. The restaurant area is more spacious than the bar area where they operate on a first come first serve basis which means a scramble when someone vacates a table. Well worth it though as... More

On the way to the see the Scottish Highlands we stop here for lunch, yes it was crowed. We received good service and the food was great. Our son who lives in Scotland agrees after eating large portion of shell fish, the rest of us enjoyed what was served.

Had half a dozen big juicy langoustines for lunch last Saturday. Sadly, ended up wearing more than I ate, as they seemed to be pinging off all over the place ! Very tasty all the same. Mate had the burger (on my recommendation), which he loved. Went for a long walk, and returned later for a lovely bowl of their... More

Like the previous reviewer I found the haggis, neeps and tatties dish divine. My partner had the herring which was also excellent. There was a slight hiccup when the wine ordered by the glass was below par (to say the least) but this was replaced without fuss and reasonable promptly. The manager also visited the table briefly to apologise and... More

A friend made reservations here when my family and I were in town visiting. We were in for quite the treat! The location on Loch Ness is simply breathtaking! On top of that, the food was tremendous! We tried the haggis neeps and tatties and theirs was excellent. I had their lamb which was also great as well. Highly recommend!

Food was very good and well priced, keeping a very homely/ traditional feel which was perfect for our needs.

We stopped in for a drink and a visit to the spot where you can step right up to the shore of Loch Ness, and where it (sort of) begins on the north end. There is a small beach, and it's incredibly evocative, with the waves of the famous lake lapping up at your feet. A family of ducks adds... More
