Delicious food. Excellent service.

Highly recommended. We ate out at Cafe 1 twice during a 6 day stay in Inverness. The food is delicious and the service excellent. For those on a budget the restaurant also offers an excellent value early bird menue at £12 a head before 6.45pm

This small restaurant carries a big reputation within Inverness alongside both Rocpool's and a few other eateries for excellence and ambience. Tonight wasn't one of those nights. On arrival we noticed kitchen staff outside smoking and spitting on the side street...? Really?? Once inside the place was alive with people but the sound levels were that of an airport departure... Myself and my boyfriend had a meal in Cafe 1 on a busy Saturday night. The restaurant had a lovely buzz about it, it was busy but we were not rushed to vacate our table and we felt it was very relaxed. Food was really delicious and good to perfection. Staff were fantastic. Really friendly and just the right level... More

Easily the best food in Inverness, no Brake Brothers delivery at this restaurant as the meat is sourced from Norman the owners family farm, our lunch was delicious and complimented by the relaxed atmosphere and first class service, an open kitchen in the restaurant adds to the ambience and openness of the staff. Cannot recommend this establishment enough.

This is amazing food in the heart of Inverness. Gourmet quality, fresh produce. French Martini's and Peach Belini's yummy. Staff very friendly and accommodating. They were crowded and bought us a drink for waiting which was a lovely gesture. We had the grilled Salmon which you can't beat in Scotland. About $75 USD for two.

This cute restaurant has amazing starters, especially the duck and gnocchi Thai style! Food is fresh, taste is original and the wine selection is perfect for all the dishes I strongly recommend this place

My girlfriend and I just keep returning to our favourite restaurant in Inverness. The food and service is excellent. Norman the owner seems to always be on hand to welcome you and Jack makes the best cocktails in town just the way you want them to be. It really is an Inverness trip essential place to eat. We will be... More

Great way to enjoy a special occasion, with a friendly atmosphere and really good food. It's a bit expensive, but worth it because the food is excellent.
