The menu was great, and all the servers were knowledgable about the menu. The kitchen did a great job of adjusting one of the items to allow for dietary concerns. The servers were very friendly.

This is a lovely restaurant. The staff are warm and friendly. It has a lively, warm environment. The food is very good and great value if you do their early bird menu. Wine list is good and not too expensive. It is in central Inverness and we had a nice walk by the river after our meal. We would recommend.

Popped in here for my wife's birthday in early April 2015. Hadn't booked a table but we were early enough at about 5.30pm. Got a friendly welcome and was shown to a table quickly. Water and bread was brought to the table and after ordering, the food arrived promptly. The posh fish and chips was delicious and well priced. Desserts... More

We went for a celebratory birhday dinner with my brother and sister -in-law. We were slightly early so husband and myself had a cocktail in the waiting area. Ford was superb, 3 courses of carefully-balanced flavours, textures and colours. Some produce was from the croft managed by the restaurant owner, Norman, who was his usual genial self. The others had... More

Recently visited Cafe 1 with a family member. We were greeted with smiling and welcoming staff who showed us to our seats. Very fast to bring over table water while we decided what drinks to have. The menu is creative, and the specials really did sound special. I had 3 courses and all of them were fantastic, really well cooked... More

Inverness wil never be the jewel in the culinary crown of Scotland, but this place is a gem. We happened on it while walking round the town looking for somewhere to have a nice relaxing, quality lunch. The staff were very good and the food was excellent. A great selection of locally produced meat, seafood and veg. Staters were interesting... More
