We chose the restaurant by chance but it was a good find. There were 4 of us ands all enjoyed our meals which were nicely presented and well cooked. It was not expensive and very good value for money

Went here for lunch with my daughter on Sunday. I am a very picky eater but we always find something I like on the menu. The lunch menu 2 courses for £6.95 is brilliant & you get a nice choice. I had the best champ I have ever tasted & the chicken was lush. Staff are friendly & attentive &... More

We booked on a Saturday Lunchtime for the 2 Course special @ £6.95. Myself and my husband both had a starter followed by the steak with all the trimmings, bottle of wine and coffee. The food was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The steak was extremely juicy and plentiful as was the chips and vegetables that went with the... More

A spur of the moment walk in on a Sunday evening after arriving by train. Excellent variety but we went for the early evening two course option. My steak was tasty and cooked perfectly, and the raspberry brûlée delicious. We were downstairs on ground floor and it was fine, with great staff and view of the kitchen. We will return.

All the staff were warm and friendly :) Lunch was tasty beautiful and of great portion size for the amazing price 6.95 i think... More

We went to the Kitchen to celebrate a promotion, and were delighted. The early evening menu is great value, and the sides were delicious. Service was quick and pleasant. My only criticism was that the main door being so close to the tables means that a draught can get in easily.

An excellent meal had by myself and a colleague. Food and staff were both excellent, not to mention the great value for money.

We really enjoyed a two course lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Set on three floors, with glass labelled frontage, it is difficult not to get a table with a lovely view of the river and castle. At £6.95 for two courses we were absolutely delighted with the quality of the food. Portion sizes were perfect, the food beautifully presented and... More
