Very good meal

First time we have been to this restaurant and certainly will not be the last. The staff when we arrived and through out our meal could not of been more helpful, the atmosphere was really good for such a small restaurant , the food was very tasty, well presented and hot. When in Inverness we will... read more

Our first choice for dinner that night was The Mustard Seed Restaurant. Mustard Seed could not seat us for dinner and they suggested The Kitchen Brasserie. What a bad suggestion! Food was awful, I ordered the Sri Lankan Devilled Chicken. I think the devil cooked it, chicken was over cooked and so dry I chocked it down. My wife ordered... More

Even on a busy Friday night at 7pm, we were lucky enough to get a window seat without reservation ! Very pleasant waitress and the food was of a high standard. View of Inverness and river with floodlit castle from our table made the whole experience memorable

We arrived in Inverness at lunchtime and as our apartment wasn't ready so we went for lunch to The Kitchen Brasserie. The staff were so helpful, took our cases and put them in the back and showed us to the roof terrace overlooking the river. It was a perfect location and fantastic view. The service was excellent and the 2... More

I ate here with a group of friends, enjoying the early evening menu (which is considerably cheaper than eating later in the evening). The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The food was great - beautifully presented and tasty. The portions weren't huge, which is expected with an early evening meal, but perfectly adequate and... More

This is a great little three-storey restaurant in a lovely location overlooking the river. Definitely get a reservation - the waiters and staff are really friendly and nice. A great example of modern dishes cooked well.

Great food, wonderful service, terrific view of the river. I went for the early dinner bargain of appetizer plus main course for 13 pounds. Get there before 5:30 or be prepared to make a reservation.

A very nice combination of fine dining in a contemporary setting on the riverside. The staff were young and enthusiastic and the place seemed very popular. The food was well cooked with just the right amount of choice and good portion sizes. Very good selection of drinks as well. As is often the case, we did have trouble attracting attention... More
