Typical 'spoons value and price.

wetherspoons is what it is, with a reputation for reasonable food, reasonable prices and no frills. This one represents the brand well. We had rump steak. With trimmings and at under a tenner it was excellent value, cooked as requested. A good place to eat on a budget

Was here on the 15th May with my grandparents for birthday lunch. I was served at the bar by Tyler and service was not pleasant. She would rather talk with the other severs! The food was pretty poor, the panini was barley edible, when tried to cut with a knife went flying on the floor!! Waited half an hour for... More

A typical experience of wetherspoon. Incredible prices and sadly disorientated staff. They managed to give me the wrong beer even after I asked them multiple times. My alternative was still quite good though Just not quite what i wanted

There didn't seem to be a huge number of options in Wick even in early June. In fairness to Wetherspoons, the food is generally good and the prices are reasonable. If you go with the specials, it is always well priced. This one seems like your standard British pub. Pretty busy even near 3 o'clock. Service was quick which we... More

You cant go wrong with a Wetherspoons, best deals are meals with drink included. Place is clean, plenty sitting areas to suit.. Only problem I ever had was when my son was 2 weeks of his 18th birthday they insisted we move to the childrens area even though none of us had alcoholic drinks.. Come on!!! Other than that we... Had dinner here twice last week, food was good quality and good value, drinks were so cheap compared to surrey, staff were very helpful and friendly and the bar had a nice friendly feel about it.

Not a regular Wetherspoons visitor anywhere else but standards seem to have slipped. What criteria are appropriate? The food here was reasonable in the past but quality and quantity have been sacrificed. The staff are okay but don't seem to have a lot to smile about - which I can understand serving unpleasant curry or having to tell customers that... More

The people at the bar had a very difficult time taking my order. I am American so my accent is a little different, but I had no trouble anywhere else in the United Kingdom including another restaurant in Wick. Then 10 minutes after we ordered we were told there was no salmon and my wife needed to order something different.... More

A good place for a meal , or just some beers . Big space , and table outside . A modern place and a alternative for the traditional pubs in town.

Pretty poor effort from this outpost of the Wetherspoon empire, visited on " Curry Night" I ordered a Lamb Rogan Josh. It arrived in a chipped bowl and not well presented with splashes of sauce up the side of the dish. The rice was a bit stodgy and looked as if it had been lying around and reheated and the... More
