staff were nice but this was a lovely building from the outside but dingy inside not much of an atmosphere to sit and eat a meal
Had a few meals at the newly opened Weatherspoon's (George Inn) in Sandbach. Tried a variety of different dishes and found each one to be very well presented, nicely cooked and of course reasonable prices. Clean environment, coupled with excellent service, what else could you ask for Staff always nice and friendly, always making you feel welcome. Well done to... More
Typical Wetherspoons with good value meals and cheap drinks. Wick is a small town with various pubs / cafe's etc but we found the Alexander Bain to be the best for variety.
Our sporting club have been going to this weatherspoon pub The Moon Under the Water in Norbury for over 2 years, every saturdays after practice for lunch. There is usually around 8 - 12 of us, each spending around £13 each. On 14th Dec 2013, when I drove into the car park, there was a car parked in the middle... More

Usual choice of food & drink, service was quick & friendly just as you would expect from this chain of pub/restaurants. The place... More
Surely this must be the most northerly and cosiest Weatherspoos of all! A change from the one in Bristol. Plenty of room even a TV to look at and excellent value as usual. Even an open fire and no reason to rush your coffee or meal!
Food was fine but no ales available at less than 5% I was served a stout in error but still had to pay for it when the barmaid poured it down the sink. She seemed more interested in swapping texts with a guy at the bar. The manageress served my steak but when I asked for sauces, she pointed vaguely... More
Eating area is large and tables are spread apart. We had more of a snack than a full meal, but the place seemed like most other Wetherspoons we have eaten in, more than adequate but not haute cuisine!
