We struggled to find anywhere that looked nice to eat in aviemore. Found this place and the food and portions were really good. Nice atmosphere and the live band in the bar after were excellent.

Staff were friendly and good scottish atmosphere. It was busy when we went for dinner, the have a buzzer system so you can go for a drink while you wait. Food was nice and would return.

Popped in with our 2 kids and enjoyed a pleasant lunch. 3 of us went for soup and sandwich deal. Lovely bowl of soup and sandwiches packed with filling. Nice ales on tap too especially gold! Will return as we do each time we visit Aviemore

An excellent hotel with excellent staff and excellent food and great beer. Happened to be there for Burns Night and the place was packed and the hotel handled it perfectly. The place is wonderfully Scottish, with tartan carpets and wallpaper. Breakfasts were great, with choices including Scottish haddock, or the full Scottish cooked breakfast. The bar serves great local beer... More

We always manage to make at least one visit to the Cairngorm Hotel during our annual visits to the Aviemore area. The food is excellent and the menu varied. Staff are always cheerful and attentive. Highly recommended.

At £13.95 (I think) this is a great way to sample many local dishes and eat as much as you like of a Thursday night in the comfortable surroundings of the hotel's traditionally decorated restaurant. Desserts, my guess is these are bought in, I'd describe them as ok at best. We dined a la carte here earlier in the week,... More

Quality, hearty, traditional food served. Children's menus were great (I have fussy children and both eat all their meals). Reasonably priced with a traditional environment. Staff were child friendly and attentive. Would recommend an evening here.
