What a shame - a lovely shop - where on my summer 3 month visit I used to visit the shop and buy lovely gifts for all the family for xmas presents - all gone now to a bland open space room with a few boards with information and a cold formal feel - just feel a lot of money... More

What a disappointment. No hands on exhibition for the kids which we have enjoyed for many years and no shop. The cafe has been decorated nicely but the cakes were dry and not the treat we remembered from previous visits. After annual visits for more then 15 years, we sadly would not go again.

No it's not. FCS have gone for a different approach to the centre and the cafe is now run as part of the Cobbs chain...(quite a few different cafes run by them around Inverness-shire). Only had lunch there...baked tatties with coranation chicken...very good. Find a table, order at counter & pay, get cutlery and they bring the food & drinks... More

The cafe is now run by Cobbs and the Forestry Commission have 'upgraded' the visitor centre to provide an 'improved visitor experience'. What a shame - neither is now very good. We called in for coffee and cake yesterday - the victoria sponge was nicely dry and crisp whilst the carrot cake was totally devoid of any flavour and so... More

Have visited here a number of times over the past few years and always enjoyed the experience. The whole centre has now been re-furbished and the café is now being run by Cobbs who seem to run a few similar sort of outlets. It is now part self service and to be honest I think they were still finding their... More

Glenmore Forest Café has been refurbished and it's now operated by a franchise(?) Cobbs. Very friendly service but no longer does it serve high quality home made cakes and bakes. Lost homely atmosphere. Free wifi but not enough of a compensation for drop in quality.

Always had great food at the Mor - especially the cakes. Staff were very friendly too. However, as of 31st October 2013, it is now closed. No word yet of what will take its place.

We have eaten at this cafe several times over the last few years, we have to say that the food is fantastic! A new chef maybe? Whatever it is, it definitely works for us, all the pastry's we tried, exceptional, the views across the glen aren't bad either, worth a visit or two.

I really hate a badly made cappuccino so it was great to find another cafe in the area that does a good one (the Druie being the other). Nice selection of cakes to go with it and the bacon and egg were nice for breakfast too. A great place to escape the midges if you're camping!!
