Above a trekking and mountaineering store, the staff is knowledgable of hiking and loves the outdoors. Breakfasts are grand, leaning towards good healthy fare. But there are also some fine cakes for splurging. Highly recommended.

Great little down-to-earth outdoor shop and cafe. Staff were first class and food was excellent. I went for the lighter option of the Wee Breakfast which was more that up to the job! Highly recommended, both for food and outdoor equipment - also the best fire in town!

Simply the best coffee in Aviemore. Nice selection of cakes. If you are here for the outdoors a good array of specialist magazines to browse or simpy enjoy the great views of the Cairngorms from the first floor cafe.

My friend and I arrived there this morning at 10:45am and ordered a full breakfast, a pot of tea and a vegetarian wee breakfast. 45 minutes later the pot of tea arrived. 1 hour and 15 minutes AFTER we ordered and 15 minutes after I complained to the staff our breakfasts finally arrived. Waited over 1 1/2 hours for breakfast with little apology. Glad it was on way home rather than a day on the hill. Food was ok. Id go to the mountain cafe next time...

A lovely wee place hidden in a horrid building. Quality excellent, comfy sofas and loads to read. We enjoyed the food and found the staff excellent. This place is well worth finding although its easy to drive past. Good parking for Aviemore as well :)

Love this cafe, excellent coffee and cakes in a most relaxing atmosphere. Very chilled out, lovely views not forgetting the most friendly staff. A must on any trip to Aviemore

An awesome cafe with excellent service... I would highly recommend to anyone in the area whether for a simple warming drink or full on breakfast or meal. The food was prepared individually for us and was perfect in every way. Many thanks to the team... We will be back!
