Good place, good food

A large choice of good ales form the local brewery. The food is also very good and fresh. Maybe it was unusual but the staff was a bit cold (and I'm not asking for overbearing and over-friendly staff). You should book in advance, it seems to be quite busy.

I honestly can't praise this restaurant highly enough. We went in with our 8 year old daughter and all of us had a delicious meal. As a coeliac who sometimes finds it embarrassing to ask for gluten free options I can sincerely say that this is the best meal out I have had since being diagnosed. Plus the atmosphere was... More

Just back from a 3 day break and visited this place a few times. Drink are a good price and was offered to try the local caledonia breweries drinks. Staff all very nice & recognised us when we return. If you plan on visiting and want food please book as it gets very busy. Will try the food the next... More

Best meal in Aviemore! Best haggis pakora ever. Burger sensational! All food freshly cooked! Freshest of fish in the most wonderful beer batter! And some of the best chips likely to pass your lips.

One of the best meals I have had in quite some time . All three courses were very good . My husband has a problem with garlic and they could not have been more helpful . They have a boutique brewery and the atmosphere is friendly ,comfortable and just a little trendy .

Every time we visit Aviemore this is a restaurant we go to. The variety of food is good and the quality is top class. I had the belly pork for main and it was lovely and delicate with an exceptional sauce. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The setting is pleasant too and the price is fair, especially for the quality.... More

We've been here twice during our stay in Aviemore, the food is lovely and the local Cairngorm Brewery beers are a real treat. It is not really a pub, I'd call it a restaurant where you can have a drink as well.

It is always a pleasure to see dishes a little out of the ordinary on the menu, especially outside of the setting of an expensive restaurant. This 'gastro-pub' is the major outlet for the local brewery (Cairngorm), and so offers the opportunity to try local beer with your meal. My starter was haggis pakora, served with onion jam. Surely a... More
