Easily the best pub in Aviemore! 4 real ales, including the local Cairngorm Ales. Great atmosphere, quality food and drink with truly excellent service. Last Sat night, it was heaving but they still managed to serve everyone efficiently. Outdoor areas, including a quirky shelter with settees! Stunning views of the Cairngorm mountains free of charge.

Probably the best bit of steak eaten for the last couple of years, a relatively small menu and for a pub a very expensive wine list. Excellent swift service (probably because the choice was wisely small to enable swift turnover of customers) but no bread brought to the table to eat whil you waited...which although that was not long just... The menu is quite short at the Old Bridge, and was more fish-orientated than meat-orientated when we ate there. This prompted me (not a great fish enthusiast) to have a vegetarian starter of Goat's cheese and Yoghurt Mousse with Beetroot - absolutely delicious. All our starters and main courses (I chose the duck and was well rewarded) were excellent. The... More

We have eaten here before and really enjoyed it, so being in the area we again booked in. The quality of the food was excellent in every respect, and the standard of service could not be faulted. As has been mentioned by other reviewers this is a pub that serves food and as such there is always a bit of... More

As a regular visitor to the Old Bridge Inn I always leave having had a superb meal and an enjoyable drink (or two). My wife and I both had scallops with crab salad to start and the fillet steak for mains. The starter was simply superb as was the steak, we've already booked for the next time we're up in... More

Called in for a sandwich at lunchtime with our 2 scotties, really enjoyed the food so called back in the evening for a superb meal, duck with wild garlic rissotto - lovely, cod with saffron potatoes - lovely. Excellent service in a busy restaurant, will be back.

Booked for dinner last week. Food was okay but a little bland and very over-priced for some dishes. It can be very noisy too which isn't good if you are looking for an intimate or quiet meal. I was here last year and it was much better. I hope this was just an off night and they haven't lowered their... More

Booked this restaurant for dinner during a recent visit to Aviemore based on the many recomendations. The standard of food was very good but we were seated in what could only be described as a pub, while paying full restaurant prices, and discovered that the restaurant area was being used for live music by mid evening and filling with audience... The menu choice is not massive but has some really interesting choices. The beef fillet was one of the best I have ever had and came with plenty of vegetables. My husband had the vegetarian options which were imaginative, decent sized portions - often vegetarian portions are quite small and very well priced. I disagree with previous comments about small...
