Lovely wee country style pub tucked away near centre of aviemore. The menu and quality of food was superb, an absolute gem of a place with log fire and dog friendly.

The atmosphere is excellent and the food delicious. We felt that the staff could have been a bit more helpful when we asked for hiking routes in the area, but other than that had a great afternoon at the Old Bridge Inn.

A wonderful restaurant! It richly deserves all the nice things said about it. The food is superb, beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are friendly and efficent and atmosphere is lively, cheerful and warm. Given the quality of the food and the nature of the whole experience the prices are very reasonable indeed. Worth travelling a long way if you... More

Ate here on Sunday evening with friends the food and staff were great however the toilets were filthy. I even mentioned to a member of staff that the Ladies loos were in "a bit of a state" but nothing was done and even my friends Husband commented that the Gents loo were very stinky and he was unaware that I... Turned up around 8 lastnight looking for a table for two,we had a 20 min wait to be seated so just had a few drinks at the bar. Once we were seated the service was fantastic,we both had the angus beef which was cooked to absolute perfection along with the sides and garnishes. Our sweets were also fantastic, waiters were very... More

This is the second time we have eaten at the Inn and were yet again delighted with the food. They have that extra something that makes the food special. Staff very efficient and friendly.

The best way to get to The Old Bridge Inn (or OBI, as the owners like to call it) is across the tracks at Aviemore’s Victorian train station and along a narrow lane next to the river Spey (its quieter and faster than the ‘official’ route via the main highway). Recommended by a family member, the OBI quickly became our... More

We popped in here for dinner after a recommendation and we weren't disappointed. It is a lovely pub on the outside and has a good selection of ales and beers. We were impressed with the menu and the food was superb. From the Shetland Mussel Skink to the Cod wrapped in Pancetta, it was perfectly cooked. Thoroughly recommended

It is an ideal place for a romantic dinner. Food is really great. We had traditional Scottish food and simply loved it.

Undoubtedly marvellous ingredients and cooking in an imaginative menu. Set in a pib which is dedicated to the pun ambience and quality beers. The result is that the tables are rough and ready, the service timing is variable although staff are great. They limit the number of meals served in the restaurant and the bar to avoid pressures on the... More
