We use some of Scotland's best local produce to create healthy, wholesome & interesting food with a Kiwi twist. We opened our doors in 2004 and have been gaining awards and accolades for our antipodean style coffees, delicious breakfasts, superb lunches & fresh home baking ever since. Our service is friendly & casual with a professional team from all over the world. The café offers excellent views of the Cairngorm Mountains - enjoy our balcony area during summer and the cosy log burner to sit by during the winter months. All the pictures are of our food - why not come in and sample our hospitality when you are in the area next?

Had coffee and cake here on a very cold wet February day. Fantastic selection of cakes! I had a large chai latte, it was nice, but frankly, not large, I needed more to go with the awesome chunk of cake. Busy place, the service was a wee bit slow, but was impressed enough to want to return perhaps for the... More

This is my go-to cafe whenever visiting Aviemore! Great selection of homemade cakes which go down a treat after a long day hiking in the mountains. Homemade soup was great too.

They have gorgeous cakes and scones which are all very tempting. They do have a lunch menu but we've only ever had snacks and they are very nice.

We went to the cafe for a late lunch. We really enjoyed the homemade soup, with homemade break. This bread was delicious and fresh .... Cakes selection is amazing. We had muffins ... they very tasteful too. Great service and good value of money. Fully recommended.

This is a much frequented place by my husband who, if he were to be giving this review, would be giving it 5 stars! It's a welcoming, warm and immensely busy cafe located in the Cairngorm Mountain Sorts shop. It has fantastic panoramic views of The Cairngorms. The staff are lovely, the cakes are, quite literally, the biggest I've seen... More

We had a delicious lunch, including a "Doorstep" steak sandwich, and a chicken panini. Dessert was taken from an almost overwhelming choice of cakes and pastries, and a couple of good coffees. The price was a nice surprise. Very good value. We were there just before 12 mid-day, and there was a table free near the window, with good views... More

A great place for a coffee and cake, particularly on a snowy winters afternoon. Great service and good value for money.Visited later in the day and no waiting for tables.

If you ever visit Aviemore then I implore you to have breakfast here. Get there early though if you don't want to wait on the stairs for a table. Quite honestly they could treble the tables and there would still be a queue. Go for the full English which is stacked vertically and looks so good you won't want to... More
