Nice taste, good value. Arrived lateish on a sunday night when the restaurant was closed. There were 7 of us and they cleaned the table outside for us to eat. It was a little chilly but hey its the Highlands. Everyone enjoyed their food and anyway fish and chips is an outside food.

We had a sit-in meal here and though it wasn't on the menu in the restaurant they were happy to plate up a white pudding supper, adding peas, for my husband. The batter on my fish (supper) was delicious - crispy and not too heavy, but my fish lacked the flavour and succulence of the haddock I had in Papa... More

Fish and chips were excellent. Over two weeks we visited three times and paid a different price each time.

We weren't expecting much, since it's pretty much a take-away coffee shop in appearance. However, parking was better than closer into the center of town, so we decided to check it out. They were also open in the mid-afternoon. We all ordered fish and chips except my husband, who preferred his fish grilled. HUGE portions of fish! Everyone agreed it... More

Stopped for a bite to eat at the happy haggis after a day up the mountains and was not disappointed. Had a sit down regular haddock and chips in the restaurant, great service, really crispy batter and a good size portion. The soft drinks were a little pricey but with free refills that wasn't a problem. All in all a... More

We had chips cheese and gravy, the size was more a hand full of chips and some gravy in a tiny tray. For the price we expect a lot more. The chips were nice gravy tasty, cheese no taste. I had a fishcake which tbf was really good. We would eat it again if the try wasnt a childs portion.
