Took 11 kids and 3 adults, Smiffy's seemed to cope well with the lot of them. No complaints from the kids, 1 slight moan from an adult. Staff seemed happy and helped out with the group a few times, toilets let the place down, looking a bit dirty and dated.

Forget your inner city chippies, or the chippy down the road, this is Smiffy's and their food is made in their own special way. Theyve won more awards than they can fit on the wall. Even though it is a bit pricey it could be much much worse. The days where you could get a bag of chips for £1... More

Expensive take away, underwhelming fish and chips. Nearly £22 for 2xfish supper and 2xkids fish bites. Not inedible but a lot of money for very mediocre food. Not the cheeriest of staff either! Won't be back

Expensive for sit in fish tea albeit nice piece of fish and good chips. We were charged nearly 20 pounds for two fish teas with a roll and cup of tea. Declined a small portion of mushy peas @ 1.25 pounds & sachet of tomato sauce at 25p each. Same thing in Nardinis Largs with bigger fish & mushy peas/sauce... More

We eat here regularly when we are staying in Aviemore and are always happy with the food. However one night we were down this week around 5-30 pm when it was a starting to pick up so I left my order and went across the road to Tesco for odds and ends. I came back fifteen minutes later to find... More

Right on the main street in Aviemore, and with pavement tables too for those warmer days, this is a nice place to pick up a fish supper. Service is good, food appears to be cooked to order (mine's was) so arrived piping hot and there's the option to sit-in, use the outdoor seats or take-home. Pricing a bit on the... More

Girlfriend and I took a camping trip to Aviemore and before going, we knew we wanted fish and chips. Being to Aviemore many times before, I automatically picked the best fish and chips I have ever been to, Smiffys. We came in and ordered two haddock suppers and sat in. All am saying, the best fish and chips I have... More

I ordered a red pudding supper for myself and my wife had the fish supper. When they arrived i was very excited but when i cut into my red pudding,to be perfectly honest it was a SAUSAGE, a poor excuse for a red pudding. I questioned the fryer but he said it was a red pudding and this was the... More
