Huge portions

Australian themed restaurant adjoining the railway station. No exotic food, but enormous portions served promptly. Tasty food, a bit expensive as most things are in Aviemore.

First time visiting the Roo's leap and i have to say we loved it. We have been going to Aviemore for years but for one reason or another we have tended to stick with what we knew. However we can say that the list of must visit's when going to Aviemore has one more addition. The Restaurant itself is set... More

Gave this a try on the last night of our visit to Aviemore and we weren't disappointed. I had the chilli burger, son had the burrito and my wife had the Quesadillas, all very nice, freshly cooked and very tasty. We'll definitely be back - highly recommended. Book in advance or you'll be disappointed, it was very busy.

Lovely friendly staff who didn't mind an adult with a small appetite ordering a small portion of fish & chips - or folk drinking just water! And what a fish and chips it was! Delicious, crisp chips, lovely fish and how they managed to find sweet tomatoes and tasty cucumber for the salad in March is anyone's guess! Yes, even... More

Eaten here few times, as part of a large group (18!) and as family of 4. On all occasions, staff have been friendly and attentive, great with kids. Food isn't fancy but it's tasty and wholesome, main course are big servings. Menu is very reasonably priced as is the the wine.

We have eaten here before, and they certainly do a brilliant burger with lots of choice. The fajitas were massive and with lots of chicken-very nice.

Visited Roo's Leap in Aviemore on Saturday 11th April. Having visited before in both Aviemore and Montrose we knew the type of food that was on the menu. I am very fond of the Caribbean Chicken Salad and chose this again on Saturday while my husband chose a very substantial burger. After enjoying our main course we decided to order... More

Went twice during space of 1 week. The food was really good and service was too. I liked the burgers. My wife had fajitas. Kids had chicken burger (which was real chicken!!) and hotdog which they loved. Really liked the place. Nice location. Nice to see the trains also. Will be back next Easter.

Super attentive staff, burgers brought to our table timeously and were delicious. Side order of onion rings would have scared a donkey. My partner took the double burger so being unable to finish his meal, it was no problem for them to pack a doggy bag for us. Great place to start our holiday in Aviemore.
