Been to Roos leap years ago & thought we would check it out again. Visited with family, on a fairly quite Monday night, staff seemed to be going through the motions. I would like to think the place would work better when it's actually busy & buzzing, this keep everyone on their toes. I enjoyed the ribs that I had,... More

Lovely meal with good service from staff. Kids menu has a decent choice and the main menu ranges from gourmet burgers, steaks, mixed specialities and mexican. Small choice of desserts and the chocolate brownie was delicious. Good choice for a relaxed family meal. Might be a tip to book table as can be busy at peak times.

Not very Australian, and not impressed by menu so settled for drinks only. Service was Ok. I understand the problems of being located on a railway station, but the big 'Toilets for customers only' notices do nothing for my expectations of a friendly welcome.

My husband and I dined here when staying in Aviemore and we were disappointed in the meal. For the price we paid the dinner was not much to speak of and there wasn't much that I would call Australian cuisine on the menu. The location is quite nice, the restaurant over looks the train station which is quite unique. The... More

Great venue situated in the main railway station. We ate here 4 nights out of the six nights we were in Aviemore. Nice friendly staff good location and a reasonable menu, mostly Mexican and Burgers with some other choices such as Fish & chips, Caesar salad, Caribbean chicken salad.. Good choice of starters. We had a mix during our 4... More

Very disappointed by the quality and presentation of the food here. Service was good however. My fillet steak was tough and over cooked. The nachos looked like a dogs dinner.

Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Good food and large portions. This is the reason we always stop here for something to eat when in the area. Just a pitty there was no VB this time. Highly recommended for a family meal.

I visited this restaurand during my weekend stay as a dinner trip from Kingussie, as I wanted to try the experience The restaurant is located directly at the train station in Aviemore. The interior is designed as an Australian bar & restaurant with a nice decoration around (pictures, photos etc.). My table was located under a kangaroo with boxer gloves.... More
