Description: Situated on the Southside of Glasgow, in the bustling area of Shawlands...
Situated on the Southside of Glasgow, in the bustling area of Shawlands, join us for a drink, a bite to eat and service that stands out when compared to other pubs and restaurants in the area. If you work, shop or live in the Southside area, then The Waverley Tea Room is here to offer you a great venue for drinking, dining and above all relaxing. We are an excellent venue whether there are just a couple of you, or you are looking for a group booking. With the largest open air terrace and beer garden this side of the Clyde, we are specialists when it comes to al fresco. If the Glasgow weather is a little too fresh for you, then we have our stylish restaurant situated in our glass conservatory, or the cosy interior of the traditional Tea Room, where you can sit, relax and be overwhelmed by our floor to ceiling wine gantry. Whatever the time of day you visit, you'll find a welcome with a smile. From all of us here at The Waverley Tea Room, we look forward to seeing you.

Sunday morning breakfast was fine, though not without faults. Fried egg, bacon, tomato and haggis were done nicely but the Lorne sausage was a bit hard. I'm sure a potato scone was included in the description but didn't appear. Tea was included in the breakfast but I'd to ask for it. Staff were friendly but perhaps not as on the... More

I always enjoy my visits to the tea rooms! Lovely and friendly staff. One girl said she had only been there 3 weeks, and was doing an amazing job! Great wee place to go for a bite if you have kids. I wish the menu hadn't been changed though, not so much variety anymore and such a shame to lose... More

We live just round the corner from the Tea rooms and had only been in once in about 4 years. Mainly because of the acoustics, its was very loud. But we were in with friends three weeks ago and enjoyed it so much we've been back twice since. Think it is slowly becoming our local!

Came here for brunch with friends. Our son enjoyed the soft play area whilst we were waiting on our food. Scottish breakfast was very nice and was a decent sized portion. Two breakfasts for £10? Can't beat that!
