Use this place as often as I can, cannot fault it , food and service is excellent, enough said , try the Pasta Carbanara ( without the cream ), or the Mushroom Risotto, first class, not expensive for food or wine for what you get

Great little rustic Italian in the middle of the city centre. Fabulous food and a really cosy feel to the place! A little hidden gem and would recommend if u love proper Italian food!

Thought this restaurant would be quiet on a Monday lunch time but it was pleasantly busy. The staff are very friendly. There is an excellent lunch menu (£9.95 for 2 courses £12.95 for 3 courses) which includes soup of the day and catch of the day. I had an excellent minestrone followed by spaghetti with meatballs from Pietro's in Tollcross... More

The open wood-fired pizza oven instantly adds the most authentic charm, through the look, the warmth and the smell. My parents had eaten here 18 years ago and remembered it from then; so we all went together earlier this month when we were in Scotland together for the first time since I was a toddler. It was just as great... More

Glasgow seems to eat out early on Saturday evenings - we were lucky to get a table at around 7.45pm. Very glad we did - delicious food and very good value. We could see the pizza dough being prepared and hand rolled prior to being baked in the wood oven. Nice thin base to pizza; good gnocchi and a pleasant... More

We stopped at o sole moo primarily as the seating outside was catching the fabulous afternoon sun! We were allowed to sit there just for drinks, despite it not being a bar. The staff were fabulously warm and welcoming, so we decided to stay for food. We each got a pizza, which were fantastic!!! Thinking we were just having an... More

Ordered two pizzas, hand cut chips and desserts. Couple of pints of Peroni also. Great food, great value and service. Will be back.

We ate here for our anniversary. The service was a bit slow but the staff were all very nice and apologetic when they admitted the service was lagging. The food was delicious and there was a wide range of food on the menu. There was not much of an atmosphere, this may have been because there were not a lot... More

We had a table booked for 3 people last night and all ordered Hake for our main course. The fish was so small that I think 1 fish did 3 people. Very poor

Hadn't been to this great restaurant for ages and still puzzling out why. Food was fabulous, I had risotto balls with tomato and chilli jam, pizza for main and panacotta for pudding. I've had the risotto balls in quite a few restaurants but not only were these the tastiest but the chilli jam was an inspired accompaniment. Pizza is cooked... More
