Massive and tasty portions!

I've been going there for years and is by far the best Italian food in Glasgow. Try the Mia Casa pasta. You'll never finish your meal because the portion size is so generous. Amazing food. Only thing is.... too many chairs squashed into this place.

I agree with all the poor reviews of la vita. I have been many times and used to love it but the last few times have been such a let down. Firstly, staff always seem to sit you up two flights of stairs in a squashed corridor, where your chair is touching someone else's chair and you can hear absolutely... More

Many thanks for your feedback , just to clarify a couple of points if you don't mind, firstly we have never made tables sharing tables or sat strangers next to one another and secondly can we just state for the record that our food is made freshly and are not in the habit of reheating food or microwaving food ,... We were late for breakfast but too early for lunch so, the coffee was great. Great location, warm and inviting. Our waiter, amazing to us, was familiar with our home town, being a visitor from Scotland to Arizona from time to time. Enjoyed the conversation with him on shared sites in Prescott.

I used to come here years ago all the time. I had a delish birthday meal in March and thought I'd come back. I ordered the same thing... Big mistake. The arrancini was luke warm and soggy no dressed salad just pulled off leaves. The Mia casa lacked it's usual kick and was just bland. Actually quite disappointed. I also... More

I went to this place on Saturday at about 4pm with my wife & although I had been before I can't remember it being so cramped with tables everywhere even squeezed near the aisles and entrances to the ladies toilets up the stairs! It's off putting trying to eat when you have folk passing your table every two minutes! It's... More

visited on a Sunday afternoon after some shopping. Ordered from the daytime menu, mussels were lovely and lots of them, but what i loved most was the fact that they had 1/2 litre or litre carafes of wine, which works out a lot cheaper than by the glass or bottle and was also a very pleasant wine. In my opinion... More

Went for a pre concert meal, to this lovely friendly resturant, 3course menu with a free glass of prosecco, staff very efficient and very attentive to all our needs, seated at our table promptly and even waited for 1of our party to arrive, who was running late. All courses came promptly, presented well, and food was of a very high... More

Busy Saturday about 6.30pm thought we wouldn't get in because restaurant buzzing. The head waiter said we could have a table straight away only if we could vacate the table in 90 minutes - no problem. Service sleek and friendly food delicious. Would recommend to anyone yum
