Went here for a family lunch. We had the lunch menu. For starters we had garlic bread, foccacia with dip and garlic mushrooms all were lovely. For mains I had the pizza with italian sausage, it was lovely but the portion was enormous and had to ask for a doggy bag, My hubby had the pepperoni pizza and my daughter... More

The restaurant was really noisy and the service poor and rushed. We asked for the wifi code that we never received.. but each time we ask the waiter ensured we'd get it soon. The pasta we ordered was seriously not edible. We had to ask them to re-cook it in a better way. We didn' t receive any bread and... More

We booked and when we got there we were glad we had. It was choca, we were taken upstairs and had a fantastic view of the downstairs and the bar. The staff in there are amazing I have never seen so much drinks or food juggled by one person. The food is amazing and the portions are massive, next time... More

Our first time in La Vita we were impressed with the food and choice in the lunch time menu. We had all three courses for under a tenner each and after adding a side order of chips and three drinks it came to just a few pence over £30. Staff were friendly and attentive. We don't get to Glasgow often... More

The service was unfriendly, rude and rushed, we didn't even finish our starter before the waiter tipped the uneaten food on the table and took the plate. The main was inedible, it was disgusting, after a few mouthfuls we felt unable to even contemplate eating any more. no one came to ask us how it was, if they had we... More

This was my first time in La Vita. Didn't book; just very handy for the City Centre. We got a table for two but were advised it would only be for 90 mins (not usually long enough!), so we ordered a two- rather than three-course meal. As it turned out, had the table for much longer than that. Service was... More

Visited here last week with friends. Staff always friendly and helpful. Meal was served quickly and was delicious. Have been here a few times and will definately be back again. They do a very good deal before 6pm - 3 course for £10.00 each so very reasonable.

The pros of this restaurant are the set daytime menu very cheap and portion sizes generous. Waiting staff reasonably good and restaurant family friendly. Unfortunately we found food a bit of a let down given other reviews. Our starters were bit bland, pizzas ok, my risotto portion was just too big it was such a waste of food and to... More

Busiest italian in town and staff do all they can to accommodate you. Pizza was the best I've had in Glasgow too. Menu is extensive but very traditional.

A prime corner location in the cit's George Square, where the tour buses gather, would often signal fast food chains and little else in many cities, but not here in Glasgow.A family owned and run Italian restaurant over 3 floors,it is consistently good and cost friendly, with usual pizza and pasta staples, but also great shellfish dishes too - try the half portion (enough for...
