Was really looking forward to my Christmas lunch with my work colleagues at La Vita George square. We arrived to see that our table was situated at the front door. this was 4 tables with 11 seats around it, this would have been suitable for 8 people to sit at it. We had provisionally booked it for a table of... More

I am responding to this review and the one below with the same comment as they are the same table. I actually have so much to say about this review I don't know where to even start. As I tried repeatedly to tell you yesterday about the table before being constantly cut off with "what are you going to do... More

Yes we did increase numbers for 10 to 11 at the last minute and yes we were advised that the table would be "tight", however, "tight" is the understatement of the year as we were crammed into a tiny corner of the restaurant which was only adequate for eight people (judging by the tables set up next to us). In... More

I think you have posted on to the wrong place as we do not cook our pasta in ovens or sell "street food" we are an Italian pizzeria not a "street food" place More

Went for our Christmas night out and place was a shambles. Hollow bowls of soup and the thinnest slice of bread I have ever seen for a starter Asked for my steak medium-well to be told chef was to busy so was rare or medium! First time I have been to a restaurant and told how my steak would be... More

Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your experience but there is some things that I must clear up with you. No customer in our restaurants are told they must order their steak a certain way. We recommend for your benefit during a busy service to have rare medium or well done but if you wanted medium rare we would not... More

Visited a few times, have to say this visit was not as good as previous, the Christmas dinner was disappointing tasted like a ready meal stuffing was bland as well as chipolatas , the veg was dried out ,avoid if looking for traditional as this was far from it , unhappy customer

We ate here recently. We ordered from the a la carte menu and were served quickly. The food was hot and well presented however half way through my plate of pasta I was horrified to come across a thick short black hair. I immediately caught the eye of one of the waiters who took one look and without a word... More

La Vita is in a great central location right next to George Square. The service is great, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The set menu is great value for money for lovely food. I go here with friends and family but probably wouldn't take my young child as it is way to busy and not particularly family orientated.

I've been to La Vita lots of times but haven't left a review before. However, the meal I had last week was so nice I felt I really should give some feedback. The menu is very extensive and everything sounds amazing, but I eventually decided on a pizza which was without a doubt one of the best pizzas I have... More

Have visited La vita a number of times and love it, however after our visit today I felt a bit disappointed. With it being December, thought it would be wise to book a table, which I did back on 17 nov. Table was booked for 345 today, we arrived at the restaurant on time and were eventually shown to our... Stopped by for lunch with my other half. Beautiful views of George Square and the Christmas lights. The restaurant was fully booked for Christmas lunches but we still received excellent service and great food from the A La Carte menu. I'd recommend the chicken au poivre if it's real comfort food you're after- amazing!!!
