This is my favourite restaurant in Glasgow. My boyfriend and I have visited here on many occasions and always had a delicious meal. The food is authentic Italian and you cannot go wrong with any dish...all great! The level of service is second to none, you always feel comfortable and there is a friendly atmosphere. The staff will do anything... More

My partner and I had dinner here on 1 July. The service was efficient. The food was lovely. It's just off George Square so great as a starting point for a night out. We booked through 5pm and got a great deal. The staff weren't pushy and didn't try to get us to spend more. Would definitely go back.

We visited here quite late at night but luckily they had a table. It was just a quick decision to have food there and I am glad we did. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. We had bruschetta and mussels to start and both were well above average standard. We both had fillet steak for main and... More

This Italian restaurant in the centre of Glasgow on the corner of George Square has all the charm of a restaurant you would find in Rome, Naples or Venice. You may groan when you see the standard menu of antipasti, pasta, pizza and gelato, but look a bit deeper and you will find what I had: Penne al Nero di... More

The restaurant is just off George Square. It was busy, which is always a good sign. We didn't have a reservation but got a table upstairs. The staff were friendly and attentive. Dishes on the menu to suit all tastes. The portions were ample and everything we had was well presented and tasty. We would certainly eat here again.

Visited restaurant a couple of times now, both times for lunch. Nice welcoming restaurant split over 3 levels. Food is great and very reasonably priced, even more so if you're eating from the lunch menu. The staff are excellent, they make it a real pleasure dining here. If you're thinking of eating here, do, you won't be disappointed.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant and just like the first the food and staff were first class thank you for a great time. The choices are lovely but the sweet course is divine.

Over many years of visiting Glasgow we have always had a couple of meals at LaVita, so I can safely say it is restaurant with a reliable and high standard of food and service. It is on three floors catered around an atrium, with intimate seating and tables. You do immediately feel at home and made most comfortable. Not the... More

Many choices to select from on an extensive Italian Menu. From noon - 6:00 p.m. they offer three course meals at a most reasonable price... In American we would call them Early Bird Specials. We were so impressed after our first visit we returned the next night for another meal.

Best beef ever. I have been here time and time again, year after year and never been disappointed. Very good service and good wines at reasonable prices.
