Above average Italian food

This restaurant in the city centre served up (in my opinion) just above average quality Italian food. Service was good, and food tasted nice but I didn't feel it was very authentically Italian. Me and my husband took 4 adult family members here for a meal. There was no way we could have managed 3 courses - large portions which were delicious. The restaurant is set over 3 floors, and had a really lovely, quirky atmosphere. We had a brilliant waiter, he was very helpful. Was definitely worth the money we paid, we'll... More

special lunchtime menu, read the reviews and thought we would give it a try. I ordered bruschetta with roasted red pepper, my friend fried mozerella. The peppers on the bruschetta were obviously from a tin and tasteless, and I think the mozerella was frozen. To be fair the manager didn't charge me for the bruschetta. Then we both had lasagne... Had a fantastic meal with my family on a visit to Glasgow. Would thoroughly recommend you book as they were extremely busy. Can't say enough about the quality of food. Staff were very friendly. Will go back again when I next visit Glasgow.

Visited the restaurant for a meal prior to going to a show. The early evening menu was great value: good food and service. We had a two course meal for two with wine and beer for under £30.00. Amazing value considering the quality of the food. Will recommend to others and will certainly return

Went on Easter Monday for lunch. The third or fourth time that I have been and never disappointed. The food Is your standard Italian quality - tasty and filling. I just had a diet coke but I think the wine/beer seemed reasonably priced. I had my usual main course of a pizza and so can't really comment on the other... More

We're a family of 5 with a younger child that's not very adventurous with her food. So we played it safe with Italian as everyone likes pizza and pasta. So we had a mix of wings and garlic bread to start, followed by pizza and pasta, followed by sundaes. The food was great, all hot and fresh, everyone enjoyed their... More

The food was very average and portions were far too big however drinks were fine. The main problem for me though was the service was poor, the staff were arguing. The drinks and food also came a bit slow. But the location was perfect right in the centre of George square.

Restaurant was rammed on a Friday afternoon (last Good Friday) and they managed to squeezed two of us in. £10.95 for a three course pre-theatre, what a bargain! A reasonable amount of choice on that type of menu and both my wife and I were well satisfied with the service and quality. Waiting service staff were attentive and everything delivered... More
