I frequently eat here and thoroughly recommend it. The restaurant is always warm and welcoming and the staff are brilliant and so friendly. Even turning up without booking is not a problem and they will always try to accommodate you. The menu has a wide choice, the sushi is particularly nice! Portions are generous and the price is reasonable. Definitely... More

This restaurant is lovely inside, very relaxed atmosphere, and the food is fantastic. The sushi is probably the best you get in Glasgow and their bento boxes are just amazing!

8 of us went for dinner on a wet and windy January evening. Nanakusa was welcoming and warm, the service was great and well timed. We ordered a selection of food, everything was delicious. The bento boxes were very generous in size. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, my only complaint was the seating. The seats are padded bench seats which... More

This is by far the best Japanese restaurant in Glasgow. In fact, it is my favorite restaurant in Glasgow. Value, service and quality of food is always to a high standard. I've been coming to the restaurant since 2008 and is still always my first choice when wanting to eat out (I'm probably there once every two months). Service is... More

Went out here last night with my wife. Sushi was really tasty. Then we both had noddle dishes tried both of them they were really tasty and had sake to wash it down. Staff were friendly and good service would recommend if ur looking for japanese food bill was very reasonable to.

Introduced to this restaurant by our daughter we found the atmosphere a little too austere. The melamine tabletops were somewhat tacky and the lighting was too harsh. The food was generally tasty but too greasy for our liking (the over 30's) Not inclined to go back.

I recently came here with my partner on his birthday, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. We are very into Japanese culture and the food, so it's something we were most definitely looking forward to, and we were not disappointed. The sparkling sake was definitely one of the evening's highlights. The staff were attentive and friendly,... More
