Loved it! Great sushi

I had been having a craving for sushi and was going to be in Glasgow for business. I did some research and found this one. Reviews seemed mixed but the menu looked good so I decided to give it a go. I am pleased that I did. The service was good and gave just the right amount of attention, they... read more

Went here with the wife in 13th feb. The service was good enough. Waitress nice and polite and chatty and also place very clean and fresh. Busy enough also. As for the food,it was fine,no poor by any means, however not quite the standard of ichiban for example or oko. As I said,it was not in any way poor-actualy very tasty... More

Booked a table here for 5 based on trip advisor ratings and got disappointed. It's a cool looking place in a cool area is Glasgow with friendly and very efficient staff. As sushi lowers we easily found our way through the menu and ordered left and right incl Miso soup, sake, Sapporo etc. All food and drinks arrived with the... More

First experience of Japanese cooking, very nice but could have done with a larger helping. The service was good and prompt as we were going to a concert. Found the seats to be a bit low for my height. Will try again sometime in the future.

Eaten here many times and I can safely say I have never been disappointed. The food, service and setting are all spot on. Not a budget restaurant but well, well worth the money and it's certainly not overpriced. If you like Japanese food, or even Asian food in general, this is the best place to go in Glasgow!

I was super impressed with the food here and I would highly recommend the rainbow roll and mixed tempura! The beer was a little expensive but that always tend to be the case when bottles are served instead of draft. Overall, a very tasty meal!

I frequently eat here and thoroughly recommend it. The restaurant is always warm and welcoming and the staff are brilliant and so friendly. Even turning up without booking is not a problem and they will always try to accommodate you. The menu has a wide choice, the sushi is particularly nice! Portions are generous and the price is reasonable. Definitely... More

This restaurant is lovely inside, very relaxed atmosphere, and the food is fantastic. The sushi is probably the best you get in Glasgow and their bento boxes are just amazing!

8 of us went for dinner on a wet and windy January evening. Nanakusa was welcoming and warm, the service was great and well timed. We ordered a selection of food, everything was delicious. The bento boxes were very generous in size. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, my only complaint was the seating. The seats are padded bench seats which... More
