Introduced to this restaurant by our daughter we found the atmosphere a little too austere. The melamine tabletops were somewhat tacky and the lighting was too harsh. The food was generally tasty but too greasy for our liking (the over 30's) Not inclined to go back.

I recently came here with my partner on his birthday, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. We are very into Japanese culture and the food, so it's something we were most definitely looking forward to, and we were not disappointed. The sparkling sake was definitely one of the evening's highlights. The staff were attentive and friendly,... More

Nanakusa's ambience is a delight, well lit by ever changing coloured wall panels and with a... More

I've only eaten in a Japanese Restaurant a few times before so still don't really know what's what. But, I was very impressed with the little restaurant. Its is a modern restaurant in an old traditional building and it really works well. All the staff appeared to be Japanese to me. I like that. They gave me advice on the... More

Not normally my cuisine of choice but tried the restaurant for my partner's taste. Very happy that we did, tasty mixed starters and superb duck, noodles and chillis for me😀 Well worth a visit.
