Very Good Sushi

First Japanese restaurant i have been to and it has set the bar high. Reasonable price, food was tasty and served quickly. Hopefully visit it next time I’m in Glasgow.

Great sushi at Nanakusa! Fresh, tasty and a nice variety to try. Will definitely go back in the night time to see what that's like, it was a little quiet at lunch. Seems a shame such a great place is wasted on Sauchiehall Street - worth the trip for sure!

Friendly welcoming staff who don't make you feel stupid when you ask simple questions about unfamiliar food. Three small starters of Edamame, Gyoza and Takoyaki. All tasty and good value. Next came the milder version of spicy noodle soup. It was delicious and very filling. With two bottles of Asahi beer total bill was £26.70

I am annoyed at myself that it has taken so long for me to visit this restaurant. The moment we went in the staff were very welcoming and menus were presented straight away..we were given ample time to peruse and make our minds up! The menu is pretty extensive but not too complicated, and the staff are on hand if... More

My husband and I have eaten here on many occasions. We both had starters and mains. I'm limited on what I can have as I have dietary issues and on every visit I have eaten the Yaki Squid (whole). This is usually served in its entirety, sliced, but it's obvious that it is a whole squid due to the shape.... More

I visited the restaurant as a last minute speedy meal solution. I had been previously but not for a few years. Upon arrival we were asked to wait for a table to be cleaned, even though there were several other tables free. My partner asked if we could have a bento box without the shellfish (as I am deathly allergic,... More

Really enjoyed eating here on a rainy Monday night in Glasgow. We ordered the sushi and sashimi sets, agadashi tofu, 2 different salads and the salted mackerel. Delicious. Very good service, and I have recommended it to everyone I know!

I ate at this restaurant with friends during a recent trip to Glasgow. The staff are very friendly and helpful - particularly patient with people who perhaps don't eat Japanese food very often! It is attratively decorated and certainly has a better interior than exterior appearance. I found the bench style seating a little uncomfortable and provided no back support.... More

lunchtime pre-theatre visit on Sat 4th April. Very Friendly and welcoming service, tasty food (slightly soggy noodles). Raspberry and Lychee Sake was a lovely aperitif. All the food was hot and fresh. Nice ambience, seating a little uncomfortable but typically Japanese. I do not like the service charge being added to the bill but as the waiter convinced me it... Visited on a Saturday lunchtime before theatre. Restaurant is surprisingly attractive inside, although bench seating it was very comfortable. Plenty of choice on menu. Waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was not exceptional or that authentic but of a good standard and tasty. Be aware that there is a 10% service charge added to the bill, which we...
