Average food

The food was ok and the portion sizes were small. The interior of the restaurant was nice though. My only issue is that they added alcohol to my cocktail when I asked for no alcohol to be added. Due to the above error I would not go back.

Wanted to take the kids for their first Mexican restaurant experience and popped in here for lunch. It was empty when we arrived at midday, but it soon started getting busy (and it was a weekday). The menu doesnt have a kid's menu as such, but there are lots of options that children can have. We chose two chicken, chorizo... More

Good restaurant that has went downhill, poor quality food at high end prices, loved coming here with the family but won't ever step foot inside again

Enjoyable food. The change in style of menu has changed since my last visit and this was not explained to us by our waiter. It is now much more a tappas style mexican resturant. Who has ever heard of Tappas Mexican food? I ordered haddock tortilla to start but they didn't have any, surely this should have been detailed before... More

restaurant was empty even although everywhere else around merchant square was jumping, which is never a good sign but thought we'd give it the benefit of the doubt. when we sat down we were overpowered by a horrible smell. no idea what it was but I've been in public toilets that smelled fresher! needless to say we made a very... The last time we came here our daughter was a baby - now she's a teenager! It got very busy - there seemed to be only two waiting staff. Not sure if someone was off sick, but I felt sorry for them - they seemed to cope ok. I had the king prawn fajitas which were very nice. Surprised at... More

First, I tried calling to book a table because the Merchant City Festival started and thought the place would be busy. 6 long calls, I got no answer. We were successful in getting a table by turning up at the door, so we all arrived and got seated. The menu is all tapas style, so the prices seem reasonable. We... More

First of all, don't take heed of all the recent negative reviews of this place. The food in Panchos is and always has been great, but the restaurant has always struggled for custom and it's never really found its place. It used to be a great traditional Mexican restaurant (and unique in Glasgow because of this), but it's prices were... More
