Best Indian Restaurant There Is

Fairly priced, great staff, DELICIOUS FOOD. This place is everything you want in a good Indian place. The atmosphere is great but not too loud, the service is quick, and the place is really clean. I came alone but would also be a great place for a date or even a bigger group. Come hungry, because... read more

This was venue 3 of our two day graduation trip and was to planned to coincide with a trip to Kelvingrove Museum. With a tapas format I was nervous as these in my experience tend to be an excuse for overly priced small portioned dishes. These were amazing both in flavour and size and a great Indian food experience .The lamb with... I really hope this Indian tapas idea catches on, because it's my favorite cuisine and there are way too many delicious options to just pick one. It's brilliant. The service was good and the food was very good but not exceptional. Very happy with our visit, reasonably priced, and would certainly recommend the place. Also got dinner at the Edinburgh... More

This is an outstanding esablishment for Indian Food. The grub is top notch and the service is amazing. My personal favourite on the menu is the Radish paratha which is to die for. So sweet and tasty and full of flavour! Perfcet for dipping in a spicy monk fish curry. The Chicken Tikka Potato Pakora is also yummy. Love it... More

We have been eating here for about a year now at least twice a month and this cafe prepares the best Indian food I have ever tasted. They serve tapas size portions which is excellelnt as in all previous Indian restaurants I have frequented the portions have been far too big even if halved with someone else. It took us... More

We took out our daughter for tea. She had been here a couple of times & wanted to go back. The cafe serves smaller portions in a tapas-style. The food was superb. The service was quite prompt. Get there early!

I really liked their indian food! Although there are better Indian food joints in glasgow, I really liked their tapas style menu!. Its filling and can try multiple items .. I would suggest try their mango lassi..it was amazing. The staff is friendly and the food arrives quite fast!

Excellent food, excellent service, not expensive. We ate here 3 times. We enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Makhni, naan, Chicken Tandoori, and the Butter Chicken. Easy to find, it is located just across the street from the Kelvinhall Museum. On our third visit, the staff already knew how many people in our party, and what we wanted to drink and how... More

My girlfriend and I visited Mother India's Cafe on 23rd June. We had tried to eat there the night before but the queue was too long so thought we'd try again in the day. We arrived at the establishment at 3pm and unsurprisingly it was a lot quieter than in the evenings, which meant we were seated straight away. It... More
