A long standing wait was rewarded with some excellent food. Best to sample different meats, and be wary of letting your eyes order more than your stomach will hold! The food is really good, the service exemplary given the pressure, and the location convenient for Glasgow Uni and Kelvinside.

Food is served in a Tapa's size bowls which is ideal as you get to try multiple dishes. The Garlic Chilli Chicken is a hot favourite with Peshwari Naan, but the lamb Karahi and fish dishes are also wonderful. In short, the food is sensational and having tried many Indian restraurants across the UK, for me, this one stands out... More

Interesting concept. Small dishes, packed with flavour. If you want huge portions of pakora go elsewhere. What you get is tasty, and enough when added to the curry dishes. Three starters, a special veg thali, naan and 2 of the menu specials, washed down with a large fizzy mineral water £33. Excellent value, no wonder the place was mobbed on... More

I do not know whether the management are becoming complacent, but last two visits have been less than what we had come to expect from this establishment. Last visit but one, tough lamb in the South Indian lamb curry, Nan bread chewy and hard. Last visit 4th April 2014, disappointing. Chana puri only contained two spoonfuls of chickpeas, coriander chutney... More

The same high standard of the main Mother India restaurant, but without the hassle of booking, because they don't accept bookings. You just turn up and queue. Once in there is no hassle to finish quick and leave, the service is excellent and the food divine. Just dive in and pick anything at random, it will be worth it. Be... More

The service is fairly casual but attentive and speedy, think they want to free the tables for those queuing round the block! But the food is extremely good and tasty and very reasonably priced. What's not to like?

This place is always busy and this time we arrived in a Sunday at half five and we were standing outside waiting on a table. We had hoped we would beat the rush but I think everyone else had the same idea. Indian tapas is a genius idea. We usually have two dishes and a side each and that's enough.... More

Tapas concept, lots of veggie dishes to. We had 4 tapas each and one to share and it was so much food. I can see us making ourselves regulars here now that we eventually got around to trying it. I love the mix of flavours of Indian food, apart from spicy chilli which I know many may class as a... More

Had a great meal here. Slightly disturbed about having to queue down the street for about 20 mins before getting in but it was worth the wait. Incredibly tasty food and served quickly once seated. Chilli naan and daal particularly good. Mango chutney was not Patak's which makes a nice change. Slightly cramped, service ok and aware that they are... More
